Hotel vacation rentals in Dambulla

Wir wurden ganz herzlich empfangen mit einem Begrüßungsdrink (frisch zubereiteter Papaya Saft). Danach würden uns die Koffer in das Zimmer gebracht. Die Zimmer waren makellos sauber und sehr gepflegt. 5 Sterne für die Sauberkeit der Zimmer, das hat uns sehr beeindruckt. 5 Sterne plus gibt es aber für den Service. Man hat uns auf Nachfrage kalte Getränke aus der Stadt geholt. Der gute Mann wollte dafür nicht einmal höhere Preise als die aus dem Laden. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. Abends würden wir mit Wassermelonen und Bananen bedient. Der Gute war immer hilfsbereit und für uns da, selbst bei unserer Abreise um 5 Uhr morgens immer ein Lächeln auf dem Gesicht. Ich kann allen dieses Hotel empfehlen!!! Vielen Dank für Alles!

What an incredible location, hosts, accommodation, and food! I need to give a special mention to Vihanga who was an amazing host and we had some amazing conversations and he helped me immensely with arranging transport for future trips, and also arranging a tuk tuk to drop and pick me up for the day. His Mother prepared an amazing dinner and breakfast (dinner was very reasonably priced too). I loved every minute of my stay - thank you! ❤️

Alba and her Partner Manolo were great hosts: always super helpfull, friendly and attentively. They gave us good advice and helped us with organizing trips to Sigiriya, Kaudulla, Dambulla and Pollonaruwa. To visit all this sites Sat Nam Village is the best place to stay! Cause after an exhausting trip you can relax perfectly in the beautiful garden in a hammock under a tree or in the brandnew pool. And don’t forget the fooood! We really enjoyed the rice and curry prepared by one of the lovely ladies who are working on the property! It was delicious. If you need some variation they also offer great Spanish food prepared by Alba herself! We totally enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back and can highly recommend Sat Nam Village for a cultural but at the same time very relaxing stay!

Die Hotelzimmer und das Restaurant sind familiengeführt. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen sind äußerst lecker und üppig. Es stehen auch Gesellschaftsspiele zur Verfügung. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sie unterstützen bei der Planung von Ausflügen. Unsere Klimaanlage war abends defekt, der Gastgeber selbst kam um 23:30 Uhr raus, um sich die Klimaanlage anzuschauen und keine 12 Stunden später war der Elektriker vor Ort, um es zu reparieren. Bravo! Weiter so! Ein toller Platz zum Verweilen, ich kann ihn nur empfehlen!

Back of Beyond Pidurangala is located in the middle of a forest with a thick tree cover. Its evident the hotel has done its best to preserve the nature as much as possible. Walking distance to the pidurangala rock. Many beautiful lakes nearby, great food and friendly staff. Bikes can be rented for sight seeing. 5-stars for everything!!

Priya homestay est un petit paradis sur terre. C'est un family business tenu para un couple aimable et charmante. Le logement est propre et aménagé avec beacoup de goût. Excellente cuisine. Priya propose avec son tuk tuk des Excursions à des prix imbatables. Le meilleur logement que j'ai vu ici. Merci

Ein super Ort, um die angrenzenden Berge zu erkunden. Vom Felsen auf dem Grundstück aus kann man super den Sonnenaufgang beobachten.

Follow the pin on google maps, it is where it says on the map - but no clear sign is visible outside the property. The property is close to the road, where there are a few restaurants and shops. It is very easy to get a tuk-tuk from the main road if you want to go further. Despite being close to the road, the property is quiet and very peaceful. It looks onto a small pool of water and is surrounded by greenery. There are some lovely quiet road to walk around and meander past the lakes. Very pretty and lots of wildlife. Sometimes it can get into the room too - we found the occasional frog or lizard bouncing around, which is fine for nature lovers like us, but might not be for everyone! The hosts were very welcoming, extremely polite and respectful. We highly recommend the food too - it’s delicious! This is a really well priced room in a quiet location. Only downside is a few noisy dogs nearby, they are loud but not usually aggressive.

place is serene and built while preserving the nature. as soon as you get down you just see green everywhere. They have a great pool with a kid area. the highlight was being able to use their kitchen to cook some meals for our picky kids.

We hebben een hele fijne tijd in Sun villa’s gehad. De eigenaar en zijn personeel waren erg vriendelijk en konden ons helpen met allerlei leuke uitstapjes in Sigiriya. We raden ook aan om de Safari vanuit Sun villa’s te doen (ze hebben een eigen jeep en chauffeur). In het midden van het terrein ligt een mooi zwembad omringt door allemaal soorten fruitbomen. Echt een rustgevende sfeer!

메니저와 직원들은 너무나도 친절했고 관광지나 모든 주변에 대한 정보를 친절하게 알려주었다. 숙소는 깨끗하고 주변의 자연경관 또한 훌륭했으며 캔디로가는 버스정류장이 일분 거리에 있어 편안했고 직원들은 버스정류장까지 배웅해주었다. 너무나도 친절하고 아름다운 위치의 숙소에 머무를 수 있어서 우리가족에게 큰 행복을 주었다. 너무 감사합니다

Wir waren mehr als zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Das Ehepaar war sehr gastfreundlich und alles sah aus wie auf den Bildern. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt eine eigene Menukarte und das Frühstück (im Preis inbegriffen) variierte täglich. Auf individuelle Wünsche wurde dabei eingefangen. Die Entfernung zu den nahegelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten war super machbar. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft zu 100 Prozent!

Our stay at Taru Villas was amazing, we highly recommend! The room itself (we had a chalet villa) was huge and one of the best rooms we have stayed in. Super king bed was so comfortable, with a day bed, couch and outdoor chairs to relax on as well. The bathroom is very well done, indoor/outdoor style and the shower was fantastic. The property is gorgeously set in the natural surrounds. The pool was brilliant: very large and the perfect temperature, we were just disappointed we didn't get to use it more due to the weather and having other things to see in the area! The restaurant was also lovely, great service, open air and good value with a good range of options. Overall we had a fantastic stay at Taru Villas and it was a stunning base from which to explore the area.

An absolutely amazing hotel if you’re planning to visit Sigiriya. The owner and staff couldn’t be more helpful- the place is in the perfect location, central but quiet with a good view of lions rock. The pool is lovely- with the sun-beds getting full sunshine the entire day. They also helped with a taxi service and planning excursions. Good WiFi and aircon Thank you to Rosh and all his staff

Der Host selber ist nicht im Hotel, hat aber bei Fragen schnell geantwortet. Der Rezeptionist war super freundlich und lustig, hat alle Fragen beantwortet, Tipps gegeben und für gute Unterhaltung gesorgt. Die Zimmer waren groß und sehr sauber. Die Anlage hat einen wunderschönen Garten. Sie ist in der Nähe der Hauptstraße, aber es ist nicht laut. Alle Läden, Restaurants und Sigirya Rock usw. sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt, ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

L'hôtel Naturaliza est charmant, un coup de coeur ! La chambre que nous avons eue était grande, très confortable, et nous avons également profité du jardin, du salon, de la piscine et du restaurant. Le tout dans un environnement de nature très zuthentique. Le personnel est très attentionné, réactif, sympathique. Pour qui veut un lieu paisible, à l'écart du centre touristique, et vivant à la fois, c'est parfait !

Unseren leider nur sehr kurzen Aufenthalt haben wir mehr als genossen. Die Unterkunft ist nicht weit weg von lokalen Straßen Restaurants und der Berg Sigiriya ist nur 10min mit dem Auto entfernt. Man wird mit feuchten Tüchern und Getränk empfangen. Extrem aufmerksames Personal. Man kann sich Tag und Nacht beim Personal wegen Problemen und allem anderen melden. Die Zimmer sind wunderbar. Mitten in der Natur, mit Balkon im grünen. Aber Achtung, da es sehr (zu) sauber ist, besteht ausrutsch Gefahr in der Unterkunft :D sehr schöne Anlage auch mit Poolanlage. Wir waren überrascht, dass das Frühstück inkludiert war! Es war wundervoll angerichtet mit Erklärung zu den jeweiligen (typisch Sri Lankanischen) Produkten. Wir haben uns sehr sehr Wohlgefühlt und das vor allem dank der lieben, aufmerksamen Mitarbeiter. Danke dafür nochmal.

We hadden een fijn verblijf met een mooie tuin bij Dudly en familie. Hartelijke personen die betrokken en eerlijke dienstverlening hebben. Met leuke tips en aanbevelingen. Ook hebben we heerlijk gedineerd aan het zwembad. Bedankt!
