We stayed for eight days and loved it! It surpassed our expectations and the open floor plan allowed our three generation family to spend great time just talking and spending quality time together. We were met with some great snacks when we arrived which came into handy after a long day of traveling from the west coast. We were captivated by the beautiful landscape including amazing eagles plunging into the waters and catching fish. The changing tides meant the landscape and natural activities were always providing a new show to enjoy. We loved everything about this stay and would highly recommend it!

What an AMAZING stay! We loved staying at the lake house and enjoyed extra that came with it! The bed was comfortable, the rooms were all beautifully decorated and we both loved the hot tub! Although it rained almost the entire time we were able to enjoy the game room and the fire place. We have already told our friends and family how much of a great stay we had!

What a place. So many great things to do. We swam and fished in the lake, the kayaks and canoes were so much fun and at night we sat by the fire pit and played table hockey.The house had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and answered all questions quickly.

The location of this property is unbeatable. Close enough to town, but lakeside down a quiet wooded road. Kids were thoroughly entertained with the outdoors, and my son caught his first fish off the dock to round out a memorable weekend.

Staying at Ty's place was lovely! Beautiful kitchen, plenty of space, easy to work the appliances and the TV. Really loved that shower, beautiful pressure, and location was glorious, very close to the famous Andre the seal, whose story is really worth a watch on youtube. Ty was communicative with loads of recs, and even lent us a kayak to go out on the nearby Lily pond, very characteristically full of lilies. Would absolutely stay again!

We had an absolutely beautiful, special, memorable and meaningful stay here, and immediately started plotting how to get back asap on our ride home. Naughty Dog Island is breathtaking, so incredibly peaceful, is a magical world all in it's own, and wow Kent has really figured it all out. Everything is so well thought out, from the nature of off-grid living to the peaceful hang out spots, the impressive communication making sure we had everything we needed, and with immediate response to any questions, we felt right at home and cared for in the best possible way. Kent and Heather went way above above and beyond for us, and were the kindest, sweetest, and most thoughtful hosts. The house was so comfortable and the island just gorgeous. Super easy and flexible check in/out and logistics of getting to and from. I can't say enough good things about this absolute gem of a place. I highly recommend a stay here, and promise you will never want to leave. Thank you Kent + Heather!!!!!

The apt is cozy and comfortable. There are quite a few stairs - it's a garage apt so be aware of that. But it was immaculate and very comfortable in beautiful surroundings.

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! Absolute perfect place to get away from everything, while still being close to all that Maine offers. The cabin has everything you could need and then some, and the view and proximity of the lake is breathtaking. Ouda was super helpful and friendly. This is one of the rare airbnb listings where the pictures and description match the reality (and then some because trying to capture what it's like to look at the lake as the sun comes up is impossible). We're already planning on coming back next year, 100% recommended!

My boyfriend and I took a trip to the chickadee house to celebrate his birthday. This location was one of my favorite places we have stayed, off a quiet road on a beautiful pond near so many things to do. The pond itself was so clean and clear along with the house. I would recommend my friends and family to stay here if they wanted their own little piece of heaven.

Loved our time here! It’s about a 40 minute drive from Portland and then 5-10 from Brunswick. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect, exactly what we needed to relax! We loved coming back from Portland and grabbing dinner and gelato in Brunswick, such a nice way to unwind from a long day. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again :)

Perfect for our little girls trip!! We were able to enjoy the hiking and peacefulness of a remote location but also took a day trip to Portland. Would definitely recommend!

Hillary's home was so cozy, beautiful, and just overall a wonderful place to visit. Beds super comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need and more. The view of the lake was so beautiful. I could go on and on.... Hillary is so easy to get along with. Answers all questions and gives great advice of the area and things to do and see. Overall Fantastic! Christ's local convience store has everything!! Our stay was terrific.

We had an amazing time at the Aslan house with our dogs. It has a beautiful view of the lake and just a short walk to the beach. It is peaceful and quiet, super clean & cozy. The host was very friendly and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you!!

We had a truly lovely stay at this cozy lakeside cabin. The setting is everything you’d hope for—peaceful, scenic, and full of charm. Mornings were magical, with beautiful sunrises enjoyed from the porch. We took the canoe out at sunset and it was just perfect—calm water, glowing skies, and total serenity. The cabin is simple, clean, and full of character. We felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend for anyone looking to slow down and soak in the beauty of nature.

This cabin was very comfortable with great amenities (cooking ware, laundry). The beds and linens were very clean and quite comfortable. We were each given two fresh white towels. The cabin is on a dead end street surrounded by A-frames and little cabins, pretty close together, but no so much thst it felt crowded. Its licated across the street from a lake. There is lake access about 5 houses down - a few minutes walk - down the road. We stayed in May and it was very quiet at night. Mostly, we saw no one, (being somewhat pre-season). But we met one neighbor on a walk who was very friendly and took a moment to say hello and pet put dogs. The local grounds were clean.

Two things stood out to us: Tim and Melissa were fantastic hosts. Responsive, flexible, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. If anything, they kind of undersell the lakeshore. Beautiful, peaceful, and a large area. We were here too early in the season to take full advantage, but this must be heaven in the summer. Hope to come back during kayaking season.

What a beautiful location! David is a great host. He made sure we had good directions, tips for the area, and was quick to answer any questions. The lakeside cabin has absolutely everything you need to have a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The view of the lake is spectacular. The cabin is very clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and Echo lake is a gorgeous pristine lake. Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the dock. We swam, kayaked, canoed and even tried out the paddle boards that came with the house. We would love to come back! Thanks!

We had an amazing stay at Jason’s place despite a (mostly) rainy Memorial Day weekend! We still found plenty to do including inside the Airbnb, outside at the pond, and locally at all of the great restaurants/breweries/nature around. We also made it out to Acadia two of our days. I will say, the trip took longer than advertised (about an hour to get to the edge of the park), but was a pleasant enough ride. We also had our two dogs staying with us and we all felt right at home! Jason was a very responsive and helpful host as well - you can’t go wrong with this peaceful retreat on the pond!

I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the lake house and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the little getaway. It is beautifully located on the lake and has this huge window in the living room from which you have an amazing view. The house has everything you need, even washing machine and dryer in the basement. I would 100% recommend this unique place! Christine has been super helpful throughout my stay.
