If you are looking for a quiet cove to enjoy the birds, mature trees, and rippling waters to kayak and paddle board this is the perfect place. We had access to it all, yet enjoyed being distant from the constant sound that boats and jet skis can bring. The house was perfect, sheets were soft and beds extra comfy. Every detail exceeded our expectations, the layout gives everyone a chance to be together or have quiet spaces to read or rest. Bring a hammock to stretch between the trees in the backyard. We spent a lot of time enjoying the deck with ample seating and perfect shade. We were also able to bring our boat to enjoy the full lake experience. The instructions for getting access to the lake were seamless. We took advantage of using the pool at the golf course included with our stay. Great place to stay . Very roomy lots of couches outside space was great. Comfortable beds the kitchen was great. They had everything you’d need. Totally recommend this place.

Thank you for the great set up in your home for a fun filled family long weekend while we celebrated our son’s graduation. The home had a very large open floor plan which made for a great set up for our large family. They loved the huge sun porch with table and chairs, large backyard, hot tub, pool and we had a fire every night at the fire pit with s’mores. The home is clean and maintained well and it was easy to communicate with Hannah. Thanks so much for the great Airbnb!

Beautiful and comfortable home! This house is a delight with lots of charming details and amenities. The house offers plenty of square footage with multi-use rooms and spaces throughout. The pool was beautiful, clean, and so much fun. We were in town to visit our son for his college graduation from Drake University. This home made the weekend even better for our family to celebrate the occasion. The location is close to everything and the neighborhood is historic and beautiful. We would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Des Moines area.

This was a phenomenal property! I wasn't sure before booking, due to the shared space aspect of the place, but it was not a problem at all. Even though the owners are on site (in the other, smaller house), they were unobtrusive. Jayden was very quick to respond to messages, and she was flexible with our requests. The space itself is a dream. The pool, hot tub, and fire pit are amazing. We also loved the amount of bathrooms and bedrooms on property. We had 9 guests in our group, but we never felt crammed at all. It was a spectacular stay all around!

We absolutely loved our time here. This place is a gem - 10/10. The host was very welcoming, had wonderful communication and went above and beyond for our stay. The house is incredible, the pool and hot tub were amazing and everything is maintained very well. I saw some reviews about there only being one bathroom with a shower, our group of ladies were aware and planned accordingly and it was no issue for us at all (there is more than one bathroom to clarify, just one with a shower). There are TONS of comfortable spots throughout the house to get ready. We had many plans to get out in Des Moines while visiting, and we truly just never wanted to leave the house, we were enjoying it that much. We are already looking for dates to come back next year. Jody's great. Really nice guy and he walked us around the entire place himself. His property is stunning with plenty of space. He even let us bring our dogs. The AC is strong and so is the internet. I brought my whole team out to work for the week. The surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful as well. It's a great space.

We were a group of 11 and Jody was very helpful with our last min plans after another AirBnb cancelled on us last min. This is a yearly even that we do in Des Moines and look forward to booking from him in the future.

We booked last minute ( the day of) and Jody was so accommodating and met us at the house. The neighbourhood is lovely and was perfect for our family. We wish we had found it earlier as we would have stayed longer.

The condo was spacious, tastefully furnished and plenty of room for 5 ladies and a baby for a girls weekend getaway. In a newer quiet neighborhood close to everything we had on our list to do.

Wonderful, clean super exciting area love this day. My children loved it as well.

Jody was very proactive when it came to communication. Some things came up at the property and he was on it immediately and let me know of the situation, (issues out of his control). Very kind and we really appreciated him meeting up with us, showing us through the house and addressing the situation he was dealing with. Overall, very good experience and a very nice property!

Enjoyed our stay - would definitely stay here again. Fourth bedroom was not private, but it worked fine for us! The basement was a great space - the kids loved it and the adults as well! Colby was great to work with and very accommodating.

Great place to stay on a bike ride! It’s not far from the trail, the town has 2 restaurants, and the town even had music in the park this weekend! Marissa was very responsive, check in was a breeze, and she was super helpful with our bike storage when it looked like rain! The town was cute and we felt safe!

House was perfect for our family of 4. Very quite neighborhood so many great parks for our kids to play in daily. Highly recommend.

A great stay with a 5 star host and house! Joseph made us feel right at home with a nice gift basket upon arrival. The house was exactly as described and Joe was very responsive on text messages and made sure everyone in our party was comfortable. The place was spotless upon arrival and I highly recommend this place. Will be coming back to this place when in the area again.

What a great house. We had plenty of space for our family vacation. Everything was clean. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The fenced in backyard was great with my grandson. The grill was fantastic and clean. When we go back to Iowa we will stay there again.

Robert was very kind. we hosted a wedding here and were stressed about the venue and he helped ease our anxiety. it’s a beautiful place with lots of bedrooms. it was so peaceful there. i recommend this place if you need a peaceful get away!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this place! It made us feel right at home and provided a clean, cozy, and safe spot to rest after a few full days of events. We especially enjoyed that we were able to cook most of our meals in the kitchen and eat at the spacious dining room table. The patio furniture on the back deck was an added bonus along with the fenced in yard that made it a great place to bring our dog. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.
