Adji’s Place The apartment is as advertised. Best part about the place: bug screens on the windows — no mosquitoes! (or flies!) Local general store near the building (support local business), with larger chain super markets a short drive away. Within walking distance to the ocean. There is a nice, reasonably priced Spa, 100m around the corner. I was there for diving, and the only Dive Shop in Dakar (only Dive Shop in Senegal, Nautilus Diving Centre) was a 15 min walk away. Some restaurants also within walking distance, although cooking in the kitchen is great too, as it has all the amenities. It is Senegal however, so there are the occasional power outages, water outages, and sometimes the elevator is on the fritz (7th floor, great view, lots of stairs, good exercise)

Great place with a lot of character

Host who responded quickly, good services, Airbnb super beautiful as in the photos and close to restaurants and the like. It felt like my home away from home. I would highly recommend it I would come back for my second visit 👌🇸🇳

The apartment was in an amazing location. Nice amenities and walkable. Amath, the caretaker, did a phenomenal job in assisting us with everything. Highly recommend this location. If I return to Dakar, I would stay here again I can.

Beautiful brand new apartment, on the top floor of a brand new building. (There are all mm qlqs small works on the building side) Beautiful view of the Renaissance Monument and the Phare des Mamelles, ideally located, parking at the foot of the building. Great spaces, large bedrooms, frankly the apartment is even better in real life than in photo. Special mention to Maimouna who manages this property, incredibly nice, kind, available and professional. Thank you for this trip!

very good stay, warm welcome, quiet and very clean

I really enjoyed my stay at Martone"s place. It is in a local neighborhood and I appreciated staying there opposed to a "tourist area".The apartment is literally right on the ocean and the view from the balcony is gorgeous. Her husband was my tour guide and wonderful at what he does. He stayed in the same building so the pairing of the apartment and his tour guide services I found super convenient. He was also my airport transportation. I would definitely stay at Martone's place again and would recommend it to others.

This was my third week at Daphnes, just kept extending our stay because it just has everything we needed and more. I liked the space, the house was cool and airy enough we didn’t use the aircon or fans. I’m quite a foodie and the kitchen is perfectly adequate to make delicious meals from local ingredients. The blender/ hob/ oven all fine. Plenty of cutlery and crockery , bakeware, serving platters and gadgets. Fridge/freezer nice and large. Coffee percolator- 🙏Thank you. Abundance of options for dining, breakfast on the covered patio, lunch & afternoon tea in the front garden. Dinner at the dining table either on the main floor or in the first floor lounge/ diner den( has sink)overlooking sea. I haven’t slept and relaxed so well in years. So many little extra touches that just made the stay so good. A real homely stay for peace and tranquility. Loved the hula hoop!!!! I’m sure I will return.

I had a wonderful five days there. Perfect setting to relax and enjoy the sea and wind. Breakfast much appreciated, served on the terrace in front of the sea. I would come back without hesitation.

Wonderful stay at Valerie's house on the island of Ngor! The place is charming and well equipped (fridge + electricity with solar panels + barbecue) with a large living room and a beautiful garden that has a spacious and airy terrace. The city center is easy to access by taxi + canoe (the connections are regular and to order) and the pollution or heat is less felt on the island because there is a little wind (very pleasant, especially in the evening! +++) Valerie is a very welcoming host who made sure our stay went as smoothly as possible. The caretaker of the house on site is a Senegalese with whom we have linked a real bond of friendship. He makes sure the house lacks nothing and helped us find good places and weekend ideas. We are very happy to have chosen this accommodation and highly recommend it! Theophile Pajot

This place is exceptional- huge and beautiful home, pristine, gorgeous inside and out. The pool and terraces are really special, the sea view is beautiful. The hosts were so friendly, efficient and helpful, the guards always there and really helpful. The housekeepers did an excellent job and were really amiable. This is a great location to explore Dakar and its surroundings - out of the city centre but easy enough to get in, and the motorway is a 5 minute drive. Somone lagoon is a must-see. Thank you so much for a wonderful base for our holiday.

Very nice house, clean and well decorated. The bedroom is located in the outbuilding for maximum independence. The gym on the terrace is definitely a plus to keep fit. My plans changed last minute, and I had to take my return flight earlier. Mamadou was very accommodating and was able to offer me a great stay, even if it was shorter than expected.

As a woman traveling alone, it was a great experience. They are so supportive and somebody is there for any issues all the time. very concerned and responsive. They even called me a taxi when I arrived late at night, and helped me to find an airport shuttle and allowed a late check-out when my flight was cancelled. Lovely people, lovely stay. The apartment is very clean, has WiFi and an AC. It's a 4 minute walk to the beach.

Taking a week at wihome we were not disappointed at all. It's a large, clean apartment with a large master suite . The detail that motivated us to take wihome was the air conditioners because we wanted to sleep well on the nights to be in shape on the days. Every time we had a question the lady was still there (sorry I didn't remember the name) and to put up our groceries, suitcases or anything else, there was Vincent next door to help us. Thank you both. i recommend wihome, especially for large families like us.

We were a group of 13 people, we had a very nice Senegalese welcome. Fatimata's place is amazing, it was very functional. The best part is having the pool and the sea really close to the villa. Very functional accommodation and there was nothing missing. Perfect for a large group, go there without a second thought! The children were delighted and we all note the address because we will come back inchaa Allah for sure! Also mentioned special for Ismael, the caretaker who is incredibly kind and caring! Fatimata we had a real crush on your villa, again MERCIIII 🥰🥰🥰

What a great experience I had staying here!! The place was absolutely stunning from the views to the layout of the place. The host Ibrahima was amazing super responsive!! Anything you need he’s your man from directions, advice on cool things to do in Dakar or food options. The beach is awesome about a 5 minute walk. 100% would recommend!!

We had a great time at Mouhamadou's place. Upon our arrival, the welcome was perfect: Mamadou is available, responsive and very friendly. You immediately feel comfortable. The accommodation itself is spacious, very clean and well arranged. It is bright, comfortable and perfectly equipped for a pleasant stay, whether for a few days or longer. We feel that everything has been thought out for the comfort of the guests. The location is also ideal: the neighborhood is quiet while being close to many shops, restaurants and services. Everything is easily accessible on foot or by public transport, which makes getting around very convenient. In short, a great experience! I would recommend this place without hesitation, and I would gladly come back if I had the chance. Thanks again to Mamadou for his warm welcome and the quality of his accommodation!

My family and I had a pleasant stay at Lanie's apartment. Everything went really well!! The welcome marked me ☺️ We even had a tray of small ovens, fruit, water...for this city that these when we arrived ☺️🙏🏽 Special thanks to Fatou ☺️ she made our stay easier. Can't wait to stay there again.

Had an enjoyable stay at Madame TOURE's place! A beautiful, spacious apartment that's worth the cost! Madame TOURE is really friendly and makes every effort to make sure everything goes smoothly. She even gave me the option to stay an extra day in the apartment for free while waiting for my return flight It was really available for any solicitation. I would highly recommend it!
