Air nam Fiadh

We had a truly wonderful stay at Ann’s place—five stars all around! Ann went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even making sure the couch bed was all set up for our two children since we were arriving later in the evening. We were especially touched by the thoughtful welcome provisions—fresh local meats, breads, desserts and milk—all absolutely delicious. Both the main bed and the couch bed were incredibly comfortable, with warm, cozy linens that made us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, and clean-up was quick and easy. Instructions for using the house and checking in and out were clear and straightforward, making the whole experience stress-free. Ann was extremely accommodating, and the little cabin is perched higher up in a peaceful, scenic spot surrounded by lovely pastures. The kids and I especially enjoyed watching the sheep in the nearby fields. We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!
A cozy living area is highlighted by a teal sofa adorned with patterned cushions. A wooden beam stretches across the ceiling, enhancing the space. A bright bouquet of yellow flowers rests on a white cabinet, while a lantern pendant light adds warmth to the ambiance.

‘Come by’ is a lovely homely, comfortable and welcoming cottage, with a beautiful enclosed garden. It is in an excellent location with amazing views from the house and garden. A great base to explore Lewis and Harris, but you can also access 2 stunning beaches within a 10 minute drive, a well stocked community shop just up the road and a lovely craft shop and garden called ‘the blue pug studio’ very nearby. Margaret is an excellent host, she has been helpful, friendly and accommodating every step of the way and always responds to messages very promptly. We had a fabulous stay at ‘Come by’ and would highly recommend it.

A beautiful house in a stunning area. The house had everything we needed and it was all of great quality. Sandra and Kevin were so friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcome. The beach is just a short walk away, with many more gorgeous beaches in the area. We saw Golden Eagles, White-tailed Eagles, Otters and heard and saw Corncrakes. We will be back. 😀

Great little spot, having a photo of the place was key to finding it as Google didn’t have the right location on the street 🤣🤣. Warm, peaceful place. We were not used to the short nights though only dark from 11pm till 4:30am 🤣🤣. Was perfect for the four adults & 2 kids and perfectly located to explore every corner of Lewis & Harris. Iain & Fiona had the cutest little basket of Scottish goodies for us to try. Thank you we had a fantastic stay.
A comfortable sleeping area is presented, featuring a spacious bed covered with a light blanket and adorned with two decorative pillows. A wooden nightstand is positioned nearby, and natural light enters from a window, illuminating the room's neutral tones and modern flooring.

Great place and very near famous standing stones and 10 min drive to a very lovely sandy beach. While touring you will realise that the Island has a lot of lesser known ancient stone circles which are also amazing. The island also has loads of beautiful sandy beeches.. would recommend Uig Sands. The house easily accommodated my party of 5 (3 adults and two large teenagers). very cosy house with a open coal fireplace. The fire was set for our arrival which was a v nice touch. There were electric blankets on every bed which was lovely. On my day of arrival the host Catriona was able to let us check in early. Isle of Lewis is a very special place and I would recommend this place for your Isle of Lewis/Harris holiday.
