Tiny house vacation rentals in Dade County

This was my second time staying at one of the Live a Little properties & once again had an amazing experience. The location (the views!!) & attention to details is superb. Photos accurate/as described. Easy access to great hikes and can access nearly anything in Chattanooga within a 20-30 minute drive. Stayed during a severe thunderstorm & host proactively reached out with a “just in case” emergency plan. Note - interior is tight & would most likely not be comfortable for someone very tall, with limited mobility, or extremely claustrophobic. However if you’re looking for a cozy space with your own deck to watch sunsets/rises & star gaze from the rooftop - highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back!

The views from the mountain and home were breathtaking. Even beautiful during the rain and foggy days. We enjoyed watching the gliders fly and land nearby. Also appreciate the local recommendations. Would love to return someday.

The cabin is amazing. A rustic quite little get away that is close to the city but also close to get hiking areas, ruby falls, rock city, and point park. We had an amazing stay, Lori was always just a phone call away and we will be visiting it again.

Everything I wanted it to be! So beautiful inside and out. Perfect, gorgeous location. Secluded and quiet. Views to die for. The cutest place ever!!! Small but really, did not feel cramped. The only issue was, I was SO looking forward to the outside tub. When I took the cover off, it was kind of yucky, BUT it is outside, and I just cleaned it myself. But then the outside lights on deck did not work & that was a bummer, as I wanted to be on the deck and in the tub at night. Check in and out...PERFECT, easy, seamless. Communication, outstanding. I loved every minute!!!

Cabin was beautiful and in a wonderful spot. Easy access to downtown and everything up the mountain.

If you don’t mind tiny house living this place was perfect. It was nice to disconnect from the internet and the rest of the world for the weekend . It was beautiful waking up to the view of the lake and a nice cup of hot coffee. Definitely would love to come back!

This is the perfect escape, especially because there’s so much to do nearby. It’s secluded, absolutely adorable, and the bathroom is amazing. Close to restaurants or hiking, shopping or touristy things. We loved having a fire and smores. Absolutely unforgettable! Just do it.

We absolutely loved our visit at The Nest! Jeanie's place was perfect for our weekend get- away for our family. We loved all the seating on the deck and the outdoor fire pit and cornhole. My husband and children had a blast using the kayaks. We made many tasty meals and had everything we needed to help us out in the kitchen. The surroundings are so peaceful and close to cute restaurants and Desoto State Park, which we hiked. The family did not want to leave when our trip came to a close. We would definitely like to come back if we get the chance!

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin. The location was private, quiet, and felt safe. We loved the dog that visited; she was so sweet. Our kids loved the zip line and a place to make s’mores. I loved having the hot tub and the birds singing in the morning and evening. There are other cabins close by but we never saw or heard anyone. Just a 40min drive to Chattanooga. We really enjoyed our visit!

The cabin was great! Small and cozy! Perfect for two people! The only complaint was the road getting to the cabin! in a few spots, there are very large rocks. I brought my mustang expecting a dirt road as pictured, and it was hard getting in and out! other than that, everything was clean, quiet, and so beautiful!

Absolutely gorgeous place! I randomly needed a getaway and chose The Raven, and it did not disappoint. It was beautiful and quiet, providing the relaxation I needed. Anna was a great host, checking in on us to make sure we were doing well. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to unwind!

We loved staying here for our weekend getaway! We’ve stayed here before a few years ago under a previous owner & it was just as enjoyable coming back. The cabin is so peaceful and relaxing while also being close by to St Elmo and Chattanooga. Lots of fun places to visit and eat. It was a perfect weekend retreat.

Me and wife had a great time and enjoyed every moment. I wanna say an extra big thank you to the host for there worry and care of us. A bad storm roll through and they offered us a safe place to stay and welcomed use like family. Definitely will be coming back for my next stay. THANK YOU!!

The tiny house had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds. The outside area was clean and comfortable as well. Nice little get away!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here! We felt right at home. Very cozy. It was the perfect space for two and our cat who loved looking out the big windows! The porch was lovely for peaceful evenings. Great amenities, too! Our host was responsive and friendly. She even gave us recommendations for a local u-pick blueberry farm! Totally recommend for a couples getaway.

Wonderful place, easy to access from main highway. Rachel is a great host, great communication. Cabin was clean and very well maintained. Will definitely be back!

Very nice, new and clean cabin, cute setting. Excellent supply of toiletries and well stocked kitchen. Great access to numerous recreational opportunities in the area; hiking, Rock City, Ruby Falls, and downtown Chattanooga.

Kylene was very responsive and helpful!!! We had a very relaxing week and were perfectly located for what we wanted to do, which was hike, relax and see Chattanooga some. We were minutes from Cloudland canyon, lookout mountain/Ruby falls and Chattanooga! As a pilots daughter I LOVED being at the little airport and watching the gliders and meeting the amazing people in the area! The river with the trail was perfect for evening walks! This area is simply breathtaking! It’s incredibly peaceful and cozy. I absolutely loved waking up to the stunning views and the refreshing mountain air. Rachel was incredibly accommodating and made our stay absolutely perfect.

Don't let the size scare you away! We are a family of 5 (kids' ages 13, 11 & 7) and this cabin was just the right size for what we needed. The 4 bunk beds upstairs were comfortable and there was plenty of floor space to move around. My husband and I knew we'd be sleeping on the sleeper sofa so we vacuumed sealed our 6" foam mattress out of our camper and threw it in the truck so our bed was nice and comfortable as well. There were plenty of linens, pillows, towels etc. The kitchen is very spacious and was equipped with all of the essentials. The bathroom was small but the shower was very big and with a tank less hot water heater it served all of our bunch just fine! Now let's chat about the location. This tiny cabin is nestled on a small lake in a mountain valley. It is peaceful, calm and quiet. We saw lots of ducks, geese, & turkeys. Coffee on the back deck over the water was HEAVEN! I could go on but I'm running out of room. Book this cabin, you won't regret it!

Amazing Stay at Locomotive! I had a fantastic experience staying at Locomotive. The place was well-equipped with everything I needed, including a full kitchen, a nice bathroom, and a washer & dryer. The projector and fire pit were great additions for a cozy and relaxing stay. The two-bedroom setup was comfortable, and the AC/heat unit kept the space at the perfect temperature. One of the coolest parts was the nearby railroad tracks—with trains passing by during the day, adding to the unique atmosphere, but they weren’t a disturbance at night. Overall, I had a very good experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay!

An absolute wonderful stay! The view is even better than pictured and the ambiance was everything. Clean and beautiful as pictured. Host was very responsive and proactive! Loved this bnb and know others will fall in love too!
