The drive down toward the water is in a small alley, get a small car. We were able to find a parking spot every day. The apartment is spacious and has all the amenities you need. Easy walk to town for restaurants., there is a pathway along the water and rocks. Our host was responsive and friendly. Access to the water with stairs to the rocks. Quiet surroundings. Would definitely recommend.

The sea you can feel - Catania, Sicily

We stayed in Giuseppe and Antonella’s for 1 week in May 2025. From the start Giuseppe was brilliant. Met us for check in, showed us free car parking, helped us with cases, left a generous basket with local produce for us. He also helped with suggestions, maps and apps for local visits and days out. He also took us out for a walk around the town showing us the best restaurants, food shops, the wonderful bakery and the greengrocers. The apartment is superb and has a beautiful window with full height opening doors which opens out for an uninterrupted view of the sea. The bed is very comfortable and there is a lovely small terrace just off the bedroom. On the rooftop there is a terrace. The shutters on the bedroom doors allow almost complete darkness at night time. The town is not touristy but offers a quiet peaceful escape from busier tourist towns. Aci Trezza is a 20-minute walk away and offers a little more with a lovely harbour and larger selection of restaurants. Overall, wonderful !

Very nice apartment with lovely view from the balcony overlooking the sea. Great location for exploring Taormina and Syracuse. Also spent a day in Aci Castello and surrounding area. Very responsive and helpful host.

An idyllic stay in Sicily and largely thanks to Mario. The accommodation is very well located for visiting the east coast of Sicily. The terrace and the view already give us the taste of vacation. Everything was perfect. And the cherry on top, Mario was cautious when we arrived, making gentle contact to make sure everything was okay. And what's more, our return flight was cancelled, so we had to stay one more night and Mario's accommodation was rented after us, so he was kind enough to help us find accommodation for the evening. I would recommend this accommodation without so much as a second thought and thank Mario for his kindness.

It was my first time using Airbnb, and it was an amazing first experience! Although we didn’t see Giorgia, she was always quick to respond to messages and help us out! Beautiful location, it feels extremely safe because it is a gated community. Grocery store, bakery, cafes, restaurants and town square are all within walking distance. All in all a perfect holiday!

The coastline is visible under a clear blue sky, with small waves gently lapping against rocky shores. The distant view includes a charming town and a prominent castle structure on the hillside. People can be seen enjoying the waterfront area along a pedestrian path.
