Our stay at the farm house was perfect! The house was clean and had everything we needed and more. We were traveling with kids (big and little) and having a house like this to stay in made our visit very enjoyable. Lisa met us at the house and got us checked in. She as very kind and we appreciated her hospitality. This house felt like home. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

My Mother and I very much enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we needed: comfortable beds and furniture, a big TV, and shuffle board! The restaurant next door was so convenient. The beer was divine. Every person we spoke to was friendly and helpful. I wish we could plan another trip here. Thank you so much. We felt very welcomed and valued.

The Nature Center Yurt

EdwardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is the second time we stayed at Marty’s place. The first time was in the loft. This time we stayed in the Yurt. We loved it even more. This place is one of our favorite places to stay. The setting—a bison ranch—is absolutely gorgeous. It’s so peaceful with the soft, rolling hills and bison roaming (and sometimes even running!) through the pasture. Just like the loft, the Yurt was pristine, tastefully decorated, and abundantly provisioned. Marty and his wife take care of every little detail and anticipate what you need. We thought that the yurt would be a fun adventure and, while it was, we were blown away by just how comfortable it was. It rained the night we stayed there and the rain on the yurt put us to sleep. It was so calming. We definitely plan to go back.

Screaming Eagle Ranch

I can’t say enough good things about Nancy and Louis, they met us when we first got there and immediately delayed their dinner plans to give us a ride in their UTV around the property so we were familiar. The bunkhouse was beautiful and well kept, beds comfortable and kitchen well stocked. The sandhills of Nebraska are beautiful and we enjoyed walking the hills and canyons of their property while seeing all types of wildlife such as mule deer, white tail, coyote and even a few turkeys! The dogs were my highlight as I was on an extended trip and having a dog run up and roll over for a belly rub was a welcome sight each day as we came home. This is a beautiful property with wonderful hosts, come check it out!

Squeaky's Hideaway

GregRating, 5 stars8 months ago
For us, Geri's place was an experience stay. it is very remote in exceptionally beautiful country. We were in the area to visit a relative and enjoyed our stay. We did have a problem with the door lock in the evening which Geri promptly responded to and corrected. Overall our experience was good. The king size mattress was very comfortable, although it would benefit from some nicer bedding. For example, there was no mattress pad and one of the blankets was an old electric blanket (with no cord provided) which was scratchy/uncomfortable. We encountered a number of crickets and other bugs but this could be in part from the air conditioner units not being sealed around the edges. And it's a farm/rural area, so some bugs would be expected. I think groups of hunters might really enjoy this property. (We loved the remoteness and the cute kitty who hung around the house.) Thank you, Geri, for sharing your property with us.
