Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cuscatlán Department

The house was beautiful and as described. We took our grandmother there to get her out of her home in the city for a few days and it was just perfect. She was happy and at peace. It was worth it. The pool was great and the hosts were friendly.

This place was great. Awesome hospitality. The space was more than enough room for 3 people with all the amenities that we needed and then some, the area was very secure. Our stay was overall wonderful. The hosts were responsive and accommodating to our requests. The house itself was beautiful—comfortable and tastefully furnished with charming, hacienda-style décor. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked with most essentials we needed. While the location is a bit remote and intricate to find, it added to the retreat-like feel of the property. Two of the bedrooms unfortunately do not have air conditioning which in ES is necessary, especially during the afternoon. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and the lush garden surroundings inside the property were absolutely beautiful, with plenty of fruit trees and even horses grazing nearby—a nice touch. The lakefront could use some improvement, cleaning of the vegetation or a pier, but you can walk to a nearby small beach area for access. There are also local restaurants nearby. A special mention to Juan, the property caretaker—he was phenomenal. Incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and attentive.

This place was truly a hidden paradise, el Tunco itself is paradise and having this place to come back to away from the life outside the gate made the trip perfect. Such peace, beautiful pool to swim, outdoor kitchen to hang out in, and the elevated living area was a sanctuary in itself. Rebecca is a lovely addition to the stay, so kind & helpful. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay here. Thank you.

It was a great place to stay , the views morning and night were great . We walked to the shops and restaurants. One of the best neighborhoods, saw lots of people jogging at 5:00 am - I recommend this lovely Condo which also provides 24 hour security.

Staying at Casita Escondida for a month has been nothing short of magical. In English, the name translates to “little hidden house,” but it is so much more than that—it’s a hidden gem of peace, beauty, and warmth. Each morning began with breathtaking sunrises, and each evening closed with serene sunsets over the ocean-facing mountains. The lush landscaping, vibrant greenery, inviting swimming pool, and peaceful terrace created an atmosphere of total tranquility. From one side of the terrace, I looked out over nature’s splendour—and from the other, I was graced with the presence of my host, whose heart of gold added depth and kindness to this beautiful stay. The accommodations are serene, thoughtfully designed, and perfect for rest and reflection. Just a short walk down the hill lies a charming little village and the ocean, offering the best of both worlds: secluded calm and local life. I leave Casita Escondida with a full heart and immense gratitude. A truly unforgettable experience

Excellent place and good facilities

Great place, a lot of space to get comfortable in. Only downside was that it had 0 view, but I’ve been to San Salvador plenty of times so wasn’t to upset about it. Awesome stay and very responsive host/customer service

For the group we were very comfortable, we had an excellent experience, and the couple who attended us were always at our service for what we needed.

The space was plenty large for our group. We had a few relatives stay with us the first night but were a group of 8 for a majority of the time so we had ample space. The onsite staff was incredibly helpful and we enjoyed the privacy of the space to spend time as a family. The location is not super walkable and as others have mentioned is on a busy street, but it felt very safe. The photos near the pool are very explicit that they were taken in 2020, so take that into account when considering the condition of the poolside furniture. Overall, the space is somewhat dated and could use a minor facelift but is as described in the listing. We appreciated the kitchen, the extra fridge space, and the television. Be aware that there is no proper "living room" - there is a lovely outdoor space but it can get quite hot and humid outside if you have older folks in the group. We appreciated the host's hospitality, responsiveness and local suggestions.

Lots of natural light, big windows. Gorgeous pool that was cleaned every day Close to El Tunco Supermarket, coffee, food across the street Beachfront Host always around & extremely helpful Yard maintained very well Gated & fenced. Always felt safe.

From the moment we entered the property to the day we left it was one of the most relaxing stays ever!! The caretakers onsite were awesome and help add to the wonderful experience my family had!!! This place sits in my top 5 all time stays based on location, amenities, propert condition the list could go on. Highly recommended if your looking for a private beach stay without all the hustle and bustle of resorts. Located 15 minutes away from the airport making this most opportune for those that don't want to drive far. Dont take my word come an experience what this property has to offer... Oh and the pool and ocean literally in the back yard whats stopping you.

Esymar house is a beautiful, open-space house with most of the living space being outdoors. The ocean view is unbelievable. And if you like watching pro seeders ride waves, there is no better spot to watch them right from your pool.
