It is located in a quiet neighbourhood on the side of Eagle Ridge Mountain. You will be six kilometers from downtown Grand Forks, a short drive with lots of shopping. You can easily access to the Trans Canada Trail around the corner from the carriage house where you can hike, bike, ATV, cross-country ski; an outdoor enthusiast's dream!

Stay at Northern Star in a beautiful valley engulfed with scenery and nature. Watch the wildlife in the alfalfa fields surrounding the house which borders the Kettle river. Fishing, kayaking, floating and swimming just feet from the house. Bird watching, hunting, hiking, fossil or crystal digging, many near by lakes & hiking trails, just a few of the amenities close by. Also known as Dominion Mountain Retreat, this 565 sq. foot bungalow can sleep up to 5, but is spacious and lovely for a couple. Very comfortable queen bed upstairs, with spiral stairs leading to a rooftop deck. Full kitchen, dedicated workspace, tiled bath with shower, hot tub and fire pit available for comfort outside. Hummingbird paradise in summer, especially June and July! Level 1 and 2 EV chargers available by prior arrangement. Please note: Winter Access requires 4WD or AWD vehicle!

Access to hiking, biking, fishing, hunting & local restaurants only 5-10 minutes away. This suite has a private keypad entrance, situated above the Curlew Clinic. No ADA access.

Nearby Republic hosts restaurants, shopping, grocery options, microbrewery/saloons and Stonerose Fossil site. Nov-March AWD needed to access.

Close to the river, golf, ski hill, hiking, KVR bike trail and many more adventures. Has fridge, bbq, one burner propane plate and induction toaster oven. Bathroom and queen bed in loft. All bedding and linens are available. Kids welcome as there is futon couch that folds into bed. Fire pit for when fires are allowed.
