Everything we expected and more! Beautiful cabin with amazing views, very peaceful location!

what a BEAUTIFUL place with all the amenities and more. They really focused on comfort for all. cozy couch, fireplace, beds were soooooo comfortable along with comfortable pillow and 2 satin piowcases. Bathroom was fabulous. Towel warmer, ear plugs, tooth brushes. you name it, they had it. They even had umbrella hats for the hot tub, if raining. Hot tub was unbelievable. This place feels like a spa package. The hosts were unbelievable. Very tentative.

1. Favorite: The beds were super comfy… u will get a great night sleep any of the 4 beds that are here… we all loved it. The beds were amazing.. High-lights: 2. Good time snowmobiling and ice fishing on the lake. 3. Relaxing in the hot tub at 10pm, 20° outside with many stars in the sky…

Our stay was exceptional! The home was spotless and incredibly well-maintained. Even though there were neighbors nearby, the tree-lined property and generous spacing made it feel peaceful and secluded—like our own private retreat. There were plenty of activities to keep our group entertained, and we never felt bored. The pool table and hot tub were the cherry on top, adding an extra layer of fun and relaxation. The host was very responsive and checked in at all the right times, making us feel well cared for throughout our stay. We miscalculated our drive and arrived earlier than expected, and they kindly accommodated our early arrival without any hassle. We would definitely stay at this place again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway!

We had a great stay! The house is beautiful and we can’t wait to go back. Close to another house but felt private. Close to the lake, hot tub was hot when we got there and incredible. We had a fire by the lake which we greatly enjoyed. Comfortable couches and beds. I greatly appreciated not having TVs everywhere and being able to enjoy people over screens. Steve was communicative and proactive.

Border Point Lodge is absolute magic. The setting is peaceful and private, with stunning lake views and beautiful details throughout the home. It's the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort — cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully equipped. We loved waking up to the sound of the water, sipping coffee on the deck, and stargazing at night. What made it even better were the hosts, Evan and Annie — incredibly responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making our stay amazing. Every detail felt intentional, and the whole experience was seamless. This place is a total gem. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return!

The cabin was very clean and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed and everything worked as it was supposed to. We come to Minnesota for two weeks every year and will definitely stay here again. Mark was very helpful and answered any questions very quickly.

Overall a nice place, very clean and no major issues. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils/ pots and pans. Linens were clean and even had a few extra blankets. Only 4 sets of towels but seeing you had laundry, this wasn't an issue. Finishes are builder basic, maybe a little better but work just fine for a cabin stay. Just know if you are staying in this clubhouse area, other guests have access to the building/common areas which are only separated by a basic glass interior door with a blind. The exercise room/common space shares a wall with the master bedroom so you can hear people coming and going to the hot tub/sauna. Not as private as you might like but if you know that going in or rent both cabins, not a huge deal. Neighborhood was quiet and only a 4 min drive to downtown Nisswa. Check out responsibilities are minimal and easy to follow with the provided guide. Overall it was a nice stay and Chad was very responsive. Wouldn't hesitate renting from Chad again. Thanks!

This cabin was wonderful for our family to have a nice long weekend together. The kitchen had more amenities and higher quality cookware than we had expected and helped us have some great family meals. A perfect sized cabin for the eight of us! Would absolutely stay again!

This lake home is outstanding! Extremely clean, comfortable, and private. We caught a lot of bluegill and some bass off the dock, and our dog loved swimming in the lake. The owner also provided a great recommendation for a pontoon rental, which was the highlight of the trip! We will definitely be back in the future.

A hidden gem! Goodrich lake is a peaceful spot. The cabin is only a few steps away from the lake providing a wonderful view.

We had a great time

This place had it all! The space inside and out was functional and perfect! I especially loved the backyard and so did my dogs! The privacy fence was great! I was grateful for the K-cups of coffee, and having a washer/dryer was SO helpful! We had one adult, two teenagers, and a 10yo. There was plenty of space and we were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and fully stocked. I would love to stay again someday!

The cottage is very cozy and comfortable woth amazing views of the lake. Everything we needed was available to us and Erin and Sreve were qinderful hosts and neighbors' very nice, great communication, thoughtful. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. The place is beautiful and we couldnt have asked for more.

We had a great time at Hilltop Chalet. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It’s a great alternative to staying in the resort yet close enough to enjoy the resort experience. We’re booking ahead for next summer because this is a hidden gem that people are finding out about. Don’t miss out!

Stayed here for the weekend to attend a wedding in the Brainerd area. Nice and close to town and the venue!

We loved our extended stay at this cabin. It was the perfect place to bridge our move the area. It is cozy and comfortable with everything you need to feel right at home! The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. You are close to great restaurants, trails, golf courses and shopping! On a rainy day there is a garage full of games and activities to keep you entertained. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to everyone we know coming to the area. Adam was very responsive to any questions we had.

This cabin was perfect for what we needed and was exactly what we were looking for. It's an older cabin with great dock/water access. Canoe provided. We caught a lot of fish off the dock. House was in great shape. We really liked the age of the cabin and the feel that comes with that. The kids loved it.

This was our second time staying at this cabin & we loved it more than last year! Very kind host and cohost with everything we could need or want even with 2 toddlers traveling with us! She went above and beyond to make us all feel welcome.

My son and I wanted to find a place where we could get away for the weekend and just catch up. While there is a lot to do in the area, we chose to just hang around and enjoy time talking, resting, and reading. There are also some great takeout restaurants in the area that we enjoyed. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. So thankful to have found a place that we could enjoy while spending so much time there.

We spent a beautiful weekend at the cabin and had an amazing time. The lakefront views were absolutely stunning, and we were able to use the listed equipment to spend time on the lake. We enjoyed the outdoors, went fishing out on the boat, made a fire, and just relaxed. The inside of the house is cozy and comfortable, with great internet. We watched movies from the nice selection available and made some delicious breakfasts. The only downside was that the floors weren’t cleaned very well by the people before us. Since the owners want to keep the price down, they don’t use professional cleaners, so if the previous guests don’t clean up properly, it’s left for the next ones. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back. Just remember to leave it as clean as you found it, and enjoy your time as it goes by so fast! We love what the owners have done with the place.
