Absolutely loved this place. Quiet location with beautiful views. Hosts were always quick to respond when we had questions and they gave us several helpful recommendations with everything from travel to restaurants. Make sure to check out the guide book Emily has as well. Tons of great information. So glad we stayed here. Would love to come back.

From start to finish our experience with Ann Marie and stay at Ataraxia Cottage was fantastic! Ann Marie was incredibly communicative and responsive from the start, providing (extremely helpful!) guidance on getting on the car ferry in St Thomas and where to meet her to get to the cottage. The cottage itself was a dream - literally, we slept like logs on a wonderful mattress every night after busy days hiking and on the beach. The cottage provided the perfect haven for our stay - the kitchen is equipped well for small meals, beach chairs and towels provided, and we barely needed the AC - the ceiling fans were enough! We would and will absolutely return to Ataraxia and Coral Bay - slightly off the beaten track and still so easy to reach all parts of St John. I had a great stay here, the place was immaculate and very spacious. it was a 3 minute walk from the ferry (but far enough away, as you wouldn't know you was that close) which was perfect as I was coming from Tortola airport. I walked to Cocomaya restaurant (fantastic) 20 min walk or 4 mins in a cab. there is a handy little convenience store next door to get your water and snacks. Also it has a restaurant next door which does a fabulous breakfast Burrito I added jalapeño to mine, the iced coffee was great and staff friendly. I wish I had time to try their dinner menu..

Ronald is a great host and his place exceeded our expectations. Incredible views and all the amenities you need to be comfortable Very quiet and peaceful He is right next door but you d never know it Fishing off the private dock was awesome and Tammy even caught a barracuda Don’t hesitate to book it We will for sure be back
