Explore & take long walks to enjoy the environment, native flora & vibe of the local area. Long Reef Beach Nature Reserve is a short stroll north, or head south to Curl Curl & Freshwater Beaches. Whilst staying at Banksia there is little need to have a vehicle as you can walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants & supermarkets. The bus stop is just at the end of the laneway on Griffin Rd. You might like to take a short bus ride into Manly where you can hop on a ferry to take you across to the City & Bondi - if you are so inclined to venture to the 'dark side'. Try a walk around Dee Why lagoon to check out the bird life, or a cliff walk from Dee Why to Curl Curl with stunning views. Walk to Long Reef Marnie Reserve or take a bike ride around Narrabeen Lake. Do a short drive to Manly or visit Palm Beach. Shop at Westfield Shopping Mall. Dee Why is one of the northern beaches' most popular dining & surfing areas. We had a very comfortable stay month long stay at Benjamin’s place with our little dog. Benjamin was helpful and answered our queries. The apartment had everything we needed and was walking distance to the bus and a few eateries etc. We loved the area and would stay again.

Perfect home away from home for our family of 5. The apartment was exceptionally clean and bright with all the windows and natural lighting. Very spacious, plenty of room for all of us. Slight view of the ocean, just a few minute walk around the corner to access the beach!! Place has on street parking which was never an issue, we were always able to find a spot out front of the house. Very walkable neighborhood with several very good restaurants and a few stores. We had the pleasure of meeting Sarah and Brad as they live downstairs from the apartment. They were very responsive before and during our stay. Many recommendations and suggestions that were greatly appreciated as we have never been to Australia before. I highly recommend this Airbnb!!
