We had such a lovely time at Moonie’s! The accommodation was perfect in every way. As soon as you walk in, you feel immediately calm and at peace. The creek is absolutely stunning, full of wildlife and the kayak was so fun for the kids. Two days were not enough! Our hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, even cooking us two delicious curries. They couldn’t have been more wonderful and accomodating. We will be back!

One of the best locations of a BnB that I have ever stayed at. Helen's place was super comfortable and her communication was prompt and friendly. The place was clean and had everything we needed. I would love to come back in the summer time to take advantage of this beautiful waterfront location, but even in the winter, this stay was great! I have no hesitation in recemmending this place, we loved it!

Such a great spot to stay. So ridiculously close to the beach and an easy walk to the main street. Beautiful new interior and comfortable for all of us, children, parents and grandparents. We will be back!!

Brilliant stay and perfect for our 3 generations to come together. Sonia has put so much thought into to all the tiny touches and amenities- things we hadn’t even thought of ! Quiet and nature centric location close to the beach and so relaxed. Comfort , quality and coziness all we could have hoped for. Will hopefully stay again.

Karen's Arakoon place is in a quiet street , close to lots of walks and ideal for a visit to Trial Bay Gaol. Only a short drive or walk to South West Rocks. The house is tidy, spacious, thoughtfully furnished and spotlessly clean. To sum it up : just perfect. Thank you Karen for memorable stay.

We only stayed 1 night at Lisa's place, it's very convenient to access with car, and instructions are clear, there's a small hiccup during check in but Lisa has helped to address it very quickly! there's restaurants nearby and the beach is beautiful.

The home was lovely. Really spacious for what we needed. The location couldn't have been better for us as we brought our dog and there's a dog friendly beach about 2 minutes away. The bedrooms are well spread out and the kitchen is functional. But the best part was communication from the host which was both prompt and helpful.

We had a lovely stay in Greybox in SWR over q long weekend with the grandkids. The house is really lovely with beautiful breezeway living. The kitchen is well appointed so a gourmet cook could probably cook up a storm (we didn't...). The pool was lovely for the little ones. After all the rain in early 2025, the mozzies were out in force, but they were everywhere, not just here. We'll likely return in due course.

We had a fantastic stay! The house is beautifully renovated and feels modern yet comfortable. The outdoor area is perfect for entertaining the family—with a brand-new, large BBQ, a great sitting area, and a pool that everyone loved. It’s an easy walk to local restaurants, shops, and the beach or creek, which made everything super convenient. The host was very helpful and responsive, and the house is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home, everything in the kitchen that you needed. Pool was clean and fun. Black cockatoos flying over every morning was an absolute treat! Plenty of space in house for kids and I. Hosts were excellent. Would absolutely come back here again!! Thanks Mark for having my tribe stay.

Where do I start… This property is absolutely amazing — even better than the photos! It’s extremely spacious, with breathtaking views from every corner of the house. The decor is tasteful, and everything was spotless. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. The kitchen was very well-equipped; anything we needed was readily available. The table tennis setup was a fantastic bonus for the kids. The driveway is quite steep but didn't keep us from going for a walk daily - the surroundings are serene and peaceful. We had a fantastic 3 days here. Although the rainy weather kept us from going around much, we didn’t mind at all — we just savoured the beauty and comfort of this wonderful home. Highly recommend, and we’d love to return someday!

We had a lovely stay, amazing views of lighthouse beach and all the amenities you could need. The kids loved all the toys and games plus the pool! If we head back to Port Mac we would love to stay here again!

This house was truly awesome! We stayed for a work trip and it was the most peaceful place to come back to after our long work days. Wish we could have stayed to enjoy it more! The views surrounding the property are unlike most I’ve ever seen. If you’re into cooking, the kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve ever seen!! We love everything with our stay! The location of the house and the inside layout, very clean, comfortable and with stylish. Private, quiet and secure community area, and easy to access outgoing activities at same time. Our families had the best sun rise watching just near the house, everyone had lots of unforgettable memories. Wish to stay longer next time.

We loved our stay at Cassie & Jeff’s place. They were wonderful hosts and went above and beyond with all the extras like fresh milk and brekkie supplies. Their place was spacious and reminded me of staying at my Nan’s cottage growing up. It was perfect for us as a family of 4. Thanks for having us!

Ruth's place was absolutely fabulous. It was very well stocked with all the bits and pieces you need when travelling, even WiFi, which was very appreciated. It was really quiet, lots of birds to watch on the deck and so really relaxing. Thank you Ruth!

Had a lovely stop on the way to Byron. The place is comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice wooden furniture which looks custom made. Couple of minutes drive to the beach or <15 min stroll.

Paul's place had all we needed for our 4 night stay, plenty of space and a private garage for us to park our car and keep out of the weather. The kitchen was great and well equipped with great amenity to cook which we did most nights and mornings. Paul was very helpful and flexible with our check in as well as clear instructions for how to access and use everything. There is a resident living downstairs with a private access from the side of the house, but we never heard or had any disruption from them. It's about a 7-10min drive from town and in a peaceful location. Very happy with our stay and would stay again!
