The place was beautiful. Nicely decorated shared area and garden. You can tell the owner really cares about the place and the people, and she makes a great breakfast! The rooms are comfortable and clean and it is very quiet, you can even do a bit of stargazing from there. It is indeed a bit far from the town, but between renting a car or bicycle, taking a taxi, joining a tour that picks you up and the occasional walk it's very doable.

The house is in a beautiful location and is very peaceful. It is a bit difficult to find as there is no number on the gate entrance on the street. Host needs to put a street number on the gate and also make reference to local landmarks such as the bubble dome and Carniceria Vicente on either side of the gate. Otherwise, property is excellent.

A cozy outdoor sleeping area is surrounded by natural foliage beneath a star-lit sky. A handcrafted wooden bed, adorned with colorful bedding, is positioned against the backdrop of a large tree. Soft lighting from nearby lanterns creates a warm ambiance.

The accommodation, faithful to the photos and descriptions, is equipped with all comforts. Shared bathroom and kitchen, always clean and tidy! The room is cleaned every day. The center of San Pedro (Caracoles) can be reached by a comfortable 20-minute walk. There is a convenience store and small restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hostel. The host is super helpful and attentive to individual needs. He gave me valuable advice on places to visit and also lent me a backpack to go on a tour. I felt at home, in a serene, quiet and safe environment. Flexible check-in and the possibility of leaving your luggage in storage. Great value! I highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast in San Pedro de Atacama! The place was beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. What truly made the experience special was the hospitality—we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. They were incredibly responsive and attentive. Anything we needed, they provided right away, always with a smile. It really felt like we were being taken care of. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

the Refugio is perfectly located with a beautiful view on the vulcanos and the outside garden is a magical place to rest after a day trip and to admire the stars. the shared kitchen is equipped with everything that is necessary to prepare your own food. Javiera is extremely helpful and will help to arrange in case you need transfers to San Pedro. we also recommend Javiera restaurant in San Pedro, Antai, where we had amazing dinners :-)
