Pet-friendly vacation rentals in County Kilkenny

This is our second visit to Weavers Cottage.. The cottage is light, airy and warm. The furnishing and fixing are all of a high standard. The cottage has every amenity you could need. It is 5 minutes from the centre of the village and the river. There are many beautiful walks from the village and nearby. Mary is a warm and welcoming host. She kindly leave basic provision to see you through your first night at the cottage. When I suffered toothache she helped us find a local emergency dentist. I cannot praise Mary or her cottage enough.

This possibly has to be one of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in to date. From the moment I booked it to locking up after my stay it was just a great experience. Ethel was an absolutely fantastic host, the house is absolutely beautiful and spotless. We had a big group of friends and family stay and not one complaint from anyone in the group. The beds were comfy, the shower was to die for, the boardgames and the BBQ came in so handy for our lovely sunny weekend too. Ethel was proactive in recommendations and suggestions for the weekend that I never even thought to ask about. The rooms are bigger than what they look like in the photos. We genuinely didn't want to leave at all. Any questions that we had were answered immediately and nothing was too much trouble. I have a feeling that it won't be our last time staying with Ethel :)

We only stayed one night but had a lovely family evening in front of a roaring log fire, a great sleep surrounded by total quiet and then a great breakfast looking out across the valley. The Christmas tree and decorations were up and we really liked how the home was both incredibly spacious but also very homely. Loved it all!

We had a very enjoyable time. The views were amazing. The house was very nicely presented. Ellen was very much in touch at all times. We will definitely be back

We had a great short stay in cottage Ballyhale! A very tastefully renovated small cottage, with everything you need. Interesting to learn the history of the cottage. And what a peace. Absolutely recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Stables. Helen is a wonderful host. She's really responsive and organized. The little cafe next door was great. The location is an easy drive to Kilkenny and very close to some local sights to see. The house was great with kids with lots of space for them to run around outside. We would definitely recommend!

We stayed in the Coachhouse the night before my sisters wedding. The house was absolutely beautiful, we felt so relaxed the night before and the morning of the wedding and had lots of space. We were able to get gorgeous wedding photos inside and outside the house. Daniel the host was really friendly and helpful on the lead up to our stay too. Would definitely recommend, I just wish we stayed longer!!

Elaine's place was our 1st night in Ireland and we were welcomed by seeing the cows and the farm dog, Jomo. The place is very close to Kilkenny and also a few grocery stores nearby to stock up. We enjoyed our time spent at the little cottage and would recommend. Kids had a great time playing with Jomo, whom loves to fetch sticks! Elaine is very nice and we enjoyed chatting.

We had a beautiful holiday here in the coach house of Kilmokea Country Manor. The coach house is fantastic, full of character and the bedrooms are large and airy with views of peacocks from the windows. The setting is quiet and peaceful and the wild and bountiful gardens are just magnificent to wander through in awe. There is a great tennis court and beautiful swimming pool framed with French Doors and ample changing areas. Emma and Mark were absolutely superb hosts. They are warm, friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to meet around the place. My only tiny note is that I would have liked a list of extra charges in advance - just so I had more awareness of costs I was incurring as I went along. The jacuzzi is extra, as is the sauna, and there is a daily charge for utilities. I am sure this is all in the provided info knowing these careful hosts but I somehow missed these details. Anyway nothing could possibly detract from what is an absolute hidden paradise. Book immediately !!

What a lovely stay for our family! The estate property is gorgeous and we had a nice lunch at the clubhouse. We didn’t have time to schedule golf on this trip but can’t wait to come again and play. The outside yard and sitting area were very pleasant, quiet and secluded. The home had beautiful and cozy decor. We loved the comfortable beds and bedding. Michelle was a wonderful host and very accommodating. Her details and suggestions for activities and food were perfect. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The host was a wonderful woman who cared to my every need and was always available for me. I travelled with my dog and Wendy was so caring and hospitable for both of us. The views were spectacular. I would definitely recommend this place and would return in the future myself.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely bungalow near Faithlegg Golf Club while attending a family wedding. The house was absolutely perfect for our group – myself, my husband, our two children, and my parents. It was spacious, peaceful, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location couldn’t have been better – just a pleasant 10-minute walk to the golf club, which made getting to the wedding events so easy. The surrounding area is quiet and scenic, ideal for a relaxing break. We truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the thoughtful touches throughout the home. It was the perfect base for our trip, and we’d gladly stay again. Highly recommended!

JJ Place is perfect for a nice get away, ideally located close to Rathdowney, place was cosy, JJ had food in fridge and loads of other bits n bobs to get us started. it was immaculate clean and a lovely stove to keep us warm. full of turf and basket full also.

Helen’s place is an absolutely lovely cottage. We all had a great bank holiday weekend especially my 2 children who are already asking can we go back in the summer. The pool table and dart board are a lovely addition Highly recommend this place and without a doubt will be back again in the near future Thanks a million for everything We had an amazing time
