What a gem of a find at John’s place. It was exactly as described but in addition the quality of the furnishings and quality of the kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery was exceptional. John had clearly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and was able to answer any questions we had. I was able to go out on the bay in his kayak and saw the seals. A lovely experience. If we return to this area again we will definitely be in touch to use Johns place again.

Hemos visitado Costa y playas como Fenit Harbour, Ballyheigue Beach, Ballybunion Beach !! it is a perfect base for your holidays!! La única pega la alarma anti incendios se activó una noche en el vecindario a las 23h y mi hijo pequeño se asustó muchísimo!! Temimos que hubiera algún incendio activado!! No hubo nada que lamentar afortunadamente!! Hope to come next summer!! Many thanks for your kind help Bernardette!!

Dunquin, Dingle near the sea

ShannonRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I loved staying at this cottage in Dunquin and will stay there again. The view of the Blasket Islands is priceless, and it’s a short walk to Kruger’s Pub, the Blasket Centre, and beautiful coastal trails from there. Dunquin is a very special place with so much history and natural beauty. The cottage is cute and comfortable with everything you need. Internet connection was good. The hosts were wonderful and responsive. Kitchen is well appointed and the bed is so comfortable. It was a great place for me to write and explore the surroundings. Reasonable price for the accommodations, and very clean.

Standing Stones

GraceRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I don’t normally write much in these reviews, but there are not enough words to describe how awesome this place was and Anne. When we got there, there was a terrible storm and we couldn’t find the place so we called Anne and she got out in the storm and met us in town and then wanted to know if we would like for her to show us where the grocery store was or to get anything for us. Even in that awful storm! When we got there, Anne had a beautiful roaring fire waiting for us. A perfect ending to a long stormy drive. The views are absolutely stunning. The house was wonderful! If we come back to Ireland again, we will definitely get back in touch with Anne.

The Cottage

KerryRating, 5 stars1 month ago
From the moment we stepped onto the path to the cottage, we were transported to a place of tranquility and beauty. Greeted by yellow and red roses, and an incredible view of pasture, harbor, and hills, we wished we had more time to spend here. Shelagh and Joe are responsive and attentive hosts. They were generous with ideas on memorable walks from the cottage and where to eat out. The cottage includes all the amenities needed. It’s cozy, clean, and welcoming. While outdoors on property, we spent most of time between the comfortable patio and the bench by the Rectory, each with spectacular views

House for two. Seaviews. Relax.

StephanieRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
What a lovely and tranquil stay. Has a private rocky beach at the end of the road. Very quiet, private and peaceful. Fantastic views. Very clear instructions at check in as this house is a bit remote. Fully stocked kitchen. In the Kerry dark sky area so fantastic star gazing right outside the door. Like most of the area there are limited restaurants so plan accordingly and book reservations for dinner. Cafe at end of street was lovely. Kerry cliffs, skellig tour, and derryane beach are musts when visiting.

River Side Lodge .

MurielRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a fabulous stay. Paudie was the best host, with great communication and we were even welcomed with fresh scones, milk in the fridge and fresh flowers on the table! The house is gorgeous, so spacious and well equipped with everything you could want. The setting is magnificent, so quiet and beautiful with a lawn leading directly down to the tree-lined river ( which you can buy a fishing licence for as it has sea trout and salmon.) Despite the chilly wet weather we still had a swim and it was glorious. Even saw an otter! Kenmare is delightful and only five minutes drive away, with great bars and restaurants and very chic shops. Cannot recommend this house enough, and many thanks to our charming and helpful host. Would return in a heartbeat. Thank you from all of us!

Cusheen Cottage Apartment

Helen's place is truly unique and special. The view from the windows is one of the most beautiful on Earth. Helen is friendly and we felt very comfortable and welcome staying there. This is a cozy, home-like atmosphere. It is the back half of her home with your own entrance and the back door open right onto a small patio and grassy area and then the amazing view of the fields, hills, and ocean. She provides everything that we needed and there was a lovely tea set, kettle and basic provisions provided too. Her cats and dog were friendly and sweet and we enjoyed having them around.
