John couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. He made two Aussies feel very much at home. We loved the house and the village of Guillemont. His recommendations on what to see, how to get there & where to eat were so valuable. A highlight for us will always be the personal tour he took us on of where Australians fought. This is the first time my partner and I have returned to an Airbnb listing we had previously rented, which shows how much we loved this place on our first visit. The house is still so well furnished with everything you need and above all, located in a corner of green paradise on the banks of the Somme. The garden is large, fully fenced for dogs and so quiet. You will spend an entire stay lulled by the constant song of birds, pure happiness. 💚

Had a great stay while visiting the WW1 battlefields in the area. A well appointed apartment with everything we needed, including plenty of coffee! Plenty of food places nearby and ideally located for the centre of town. Would highly recommend.

Well that’s us back home after a wonderful six days in the Somme. Seb et Delphine place is great, comfortable and so well equippped with every thing. would ever need. Microwave Oven Air fryer Fridge freezer Washing machine Dishwasher. Everything. Right in the middle of the Somme in the lovely village of Montauban. A superb base for exploring. It is not 5 star but it is a lovely little place that I cannot fault. Thank you Seb et Delphine for allowing us to stay in your accommodation. Tres Bon.!!!!
