House vacation rentals in Comal River

Gorgeous A-frame in the Wimberley wilderness. Remote enough to be private, but close enough to be near everything you’d want to access nearby. Jana and Andy were so lovely in their communication and responsiveness. The A-frame itself is beautiful, the deck is spacious, the cowboy pool adds a touch of fun, the kitchen is open and spacious, and the hosts provide an Instax camera complete with film as a unique way to “sign” their guest book. Overall amazing Airbnb experience. We’ll definitely stay with J&A in the future.

This is one of our favorite vacation spots! The perfect family getaway location; close enough to do everything in New Braunfels and San Antonio, but far enough away to enjoy the Texas Hill Country without all the hustle and bustle around you! Already looking forward to our next stay!

This was a wonderful house. Very clean and I love the coffee area! The swimming pool nice and warm. The whole house was a great place to hangout with our Airman. The beds were so nice and comfortable. I could have slept in each day but had a schedule to follow. Communication was outstanding. All questions were answered right away. I would love to stay there again if I ever have another trip to San Antonio.

The views were amazing, the night was peaceful and stunning. The layout of the house was perfect.

This Airbnb was exactly as described. What made it stand out was all of the extra touches - the pool, the backyard was amazing and all of the games for our family. The home was very clean and well maintained. The owners were very responsive for any questions that we had. We tried several of their restaurant recommendations and they were all excellent. They provided lots of extras that were greatly appreciated. You could stay here and not have to go to the store to buy basics like coffee, garbage bags and toilet paper like most airbnbs that I’ve stayed in. The house is close to everything. You could be to most of the attractions within 15 minutes. The only downfall for me is that the beds were too firm for my liking. Don’t hesitate to book this place!

Great host!! Very responsive to text messages. Overall the place was great very private out in the hill country. Great BBQ place in town and local grocery store not far Would definitely recommend. My grandkids had a great time in the pool. Patio area very relaxing.

Great place to stay! We visited for my mother-in-law's birthday weekend. It was three adults and a mid-size dog. We all had the best time. I had been looking for a pool and fenced yard. We got both! Although it wasn't a normal size pool which is shown in the pictures listed, we thoroughly enjoyed it! It fit all three of us comfortably so we could relax and chat while enjoying the scenery and the quiet space. The views and the area is just what was listed and expected. We all couldn't get over how peaceful and quiet it had been. Inside the home was absolutely comfortable and cozy. We gave my mother-in-law the larger room, but my husband and I still enjoyed the twin beds and personal bathroom. We are so thankful we were able to book as I've noticed this place is booked for quite some time this summer. Thank you Susan for being so accommodating with all of my questions and allowing us to stay!

We float the river once a year and had a wonderful time. This was the perfect location. We even got to enjoy a few friendly local whitetail deer with a young fawn. Very quaint home and Eddy has everything in the home that you would need. Would definately stay here again.

We really loved the location. It was perfect for our girls weekend getaway and Emily was great at helping us with any questions we may have had. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great space in the perfect location! You can access the river using the bridge across the street, float for about an hour, and exit via the private stairs at this facility. The condo is spacious and clean. The washer, dryer, kitchen, and balconies make this an unbeatable rental option. In addition, the pool has a shallow area that is ideal for soaking in the sunshine or entertaining kiddos, and the hot tub is an added bonus if the pool and river are too cold. The host responds quickly. Parking is covered (for one vehicle). We would book again!

Jennfier was a super host. She was very responsive to any questions we had in advance of our arrival and checked on us once we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed and that we found things. The house was just what we expected based on the description and pictures and was very nicely appointed and comfortable. It was like being at home. The location on the Guadalupe River was perfect and allowed us to enjoy some time out at the river since it had such easy access. We couldn't have booked a more perfect place our weekend in New Braunfels.

This place was great for so many reasons. private access to the river, so spacious, lots of beds and stocked with anything you may need on your trip. Definitely recommend for a group that is looking to have fun and float down the river. All of the kids in our group had a blast.

Amazing place to stay away from new branfuels but close enough to enjoy everything around the area !!! Loved it clean helpful lots to do with in the property, and will come back once again.

My husband and I and two other couples had a night away from our kids and enjoy some adult time and we were able to do just that in this house. It was so peaceful and the views were absolutely amazing. We had a full day of floating the San Marcos river and coming to this Airbnb after the float to relax was perfect. We had a fantastic stay at Brooke’s place in Wimberley, TX! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfect for our family getaway. Brooke was a thoughtful and responsive host, making everything easy from check-in to check-out. The peaceful surroundings and charming touches made it feel like a true retreat. Highly Recommend!

I love it when an Airbnb feels like your friend’s or your family’s home- this is what this spot felt like!! Totally stocked with anything you might need, quality linens, comfortable beds, high quality furniture, and on the riverfront. You cannot find a better place than this to disconnect and find some peace! Cannot recommend Mark’s place more!!

Such a cool place and in the perfect spot to walk to all the downtown spots!

We absolutely loved our stay at this perfect river house. The photos truly don't capture the magic of this place - it's absolutely stunning. We loved being able to tube right off of the deck, the river was perfection and there is a rope and anchor to connect the tubes to the dock for easy in/out access. We loved just hanging on the dock watching the kayakers and enjoying the river view, too. This part of the river didn't have the usual crazy tubing traffic, so it's great for a relaxing swim. The views from the master bedroom and living room were AMAZING! We saw deer, birds and foxes (!!) walking right across the yard and lots of lovely fireflies in the evenings. The neighborhood is so peaceful, the house was spotless, and the beds were really comfy. We traveled with two kids (5, 8) and they had a blast, core memories were made. We didn't want to leave and are already planning our next visit! Such a gem, 10/10 no notes!
