Apartment vacation rentals in Comal County

We loved the location. Very close to Gruene Hall. The pool at the apartment was excellent. It was an added perk we didn’t realize was there!! Also, not a bunch of “to-dos” as we were leaving. Of course, we made sure and took very good care of the place and all of our trash was in the trashcan and we didn’t make any big messes at all…. But we didn’t have a list of things to do, to take all of the trash out to a dumpster, strip all of the bedding and put them and the towels in the laundry room or all of those things that are time consuming and frustrating when you’re already paying for a place and a cleaning fee. I would definitely stay again.

Very well equipped, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, spaciously comfortable, and extremely clean! A very nice and quiet apartment. 100% recommend to anyone with needs on the north side.

Very Blessed to have a place to lay my head. Hosts are receptive and respect privacy. NO WiFI / NOR CABLE. I put it in caps due to the fact that I missed it in the trip details ( it does state). I needed WIFI for business, otherwise great if someone was on VACA. I was however not on VACA. Host was accommodating and offered their back patio to use WIFI and approved a gracious late check out She also provided coupons to fairview coffeeshop ( I forgot;((). Oh well next guest can enjoy..

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s place! The apartment complex is beautiful and so was the apartment itself! We were there for a girls trip and easily walked to and from Gruene to enjoy the shops and bars/restaurants there! Highly recommend Jennifer’s apartment to anyone visiting the Gruene or New Braunfels area!

This was the perfect location for us to enjoy the river. It was super clean, bed was very comfy, and James made everything so easy and he was very accommodating.

Chula Cottage is second to none in comfort, locale, accessibility and friendliness. Staying here is always a pleasurable experience. It is a true country setting, complete with chickens in the yard and deer right next door! Yet, it is very close to shopping, restaurants and easy access to I 35. Our hosts Annie and Russell are very helpful and hospitable.

The place was very nice. The location was peaceful. Robert was very accomodating.

Host was very responsive. The place was amazing! Everything was clean and organized. I think it was well equipped with very basic essentials that we have not seen in other places. Small meaningful items such as tissues, qtips, ziplock bags, waters, etc. Had a small hiccup with the light but host responded in seconds and was fixed under a minute! Would definitely consider the place once again! Felt right at home. Spacious and very accommodating. Very peaceful and great views at the top of a hill! Great work with this airbnb! Felt very safe too. Was able to walk my dog up and down the hill by the neighborhood. Yard is completely fenced in if you rather walk them nearby. Cannot rave enough. Rare gem to find for a great price. Probably 1 suggestion coming from a woman - a full size mirror would be an excellent touch. We attended a wedding and a full size mirror would have completed the stay. Still 5 stars overall!

Check in was easy, location was great, patio was spacious! Anytime we reached out with questions they were quick to get back to us. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

This was absolutely one of the best Air bnb's we have ever stayed at. The location was amazing and right on the river. It was extremely clean and well stocked with all the things you might need. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept in at any Air bnb. They were very responsive with any of my questions or concerns. We would definitely stay here again.

Quaint place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of downtown New Braunfels. The place was stocked with essentials, which is great in general but will require some creativity in the kitchen. Mark and his friendly canine companion - Pearl - came over to welcome us and they both checked in on us in their own ways which was appreciated. My wife and I were left to enjoy our privacy. Mark was kind enough to let us invite the friends over we were in-town to visit and we really had a great time visiting. We would have liked to spend more time appreciating the property at its fullest potential, but alas - another time.

Our stay with Nikki was great! It was central to everything we love to do in Canyon Lake. Check in was flexible, the unit was spotless thoughout, and Nikki friendly & responsive. 10 out of 10 would stay with Nikki again!

Kishauns place felt like a home away from home. It was very cozy with a beautiful view. The neighborhood is very local and close to all the hotspots. Kishauns place has a lot of art and positivity that was motivating for making the best out of my time. I felt very welcomed when I came in from the heat into a cool, calm atmosphere, with a lit scented candle as a finishing touch.

Great location for Schlitterbahn and tubing the river. Frank was very responsive. The place is nothing fancy with some throwback appliances, but it worked for what we needed during our stay.

We attended a concert at Mountain breeze and this was a short 15 min drive . I forgot my toothbrush and they had 2 extra which came in handy, appreciate it! Definitely coming back, lots of room for 2 people. Wine was available however we had our own drinks.

Great location for floating the Comal River! Our family also enjoyed hanging out at the pool after floating the river. Condo was great with comfortable beds and toiletries. Thank you for hosting!

This is a gem! I fell I love once I walked up the stairs to the deck surrounded by trees and covered in beautiful potted plants. The inside was gorgeous…lovely decor, comfy beds, awesome natural light, luxurious towels, and lots of thoughtful touches. The hot tub at night was sublime…especially surrounded by all the nighttime nature music. We didn’t spend much time in town but it was super cute with lots to do! Private parking was great.

Place was cozy and well kept. Definitely would come back .

We enjoyed our stay here in April. Convenient dedicated parking spot right outside the condo, with two flights of stairs to walk up, or a 20-second walk to the elevator. The condo had everything we needed, and Aimee was incredibly responsive and friendly. The community has two swimming pools, each with two hot tubs, for a total of four hot tubs. One of the pools with two hot tubs is located just a two minute walk from the condo, but that pool is not heated, and it is also located underneath several balconies of other condos, so it is not private, but would be a convenient option for kids. The other pool with two hot tubs is a 4 1/2 minute walk from the condo, and not only is the pool heated, but the hot tubs are even nicer, and are set back from everyone’s balconies so that it is a much more beautiful and private setting. Even though we did not use this heated pool much given that the outside air temperatures were in the 40s and 50s, we still enjoyed it! Would happily recommend!

Condo was just as described and matched the photos posted. Never had an issue with parking, loud guests, or anything not working in the condo. Had everything we needed. Just a couple of things I’d like to point out though.. while the grounds are beautiful and it was so nice to have two pools, the river access wasn’t ideal. There’s no where to put chairs or a tent on the bank and just chill. You kinda have to jump in and start floating. It’s also a little steep to get to the river access. However, around the corner from the condo is Cypress Bend Park and it’s the perfect location to sit in the river and chill, just get there early. Also, for the beds in the condo, the master is SUPER soft memory foam and the 2nd bed has a firmer mattress, just a little FYI. Shower pressure was good! Those are always things I worry about so just wanted to add. Would absolutely stay here again! Oh! And security was on top of making sure only paid guests were accessing the pools, THANK YOU!!
