Luxurious 3 BR Apartment w/ Pool, BBQ Grill, Views

JanineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The terrace with the pool was perfect. It even had a toilet right by the pool. The apartment is very spacious and we had a lot of space for 5 people. Since our onward journey was postponed, we were able to easily adjust the booking with Talia.
A stunning sunset is captured over a calm ocean, with the sun disappearing along the horizon. Silhouettes of nearby boats are visible on the water, while a subtle outline of the village rests against the backdrop of vibrant orange and pink hues in the sky.

The flat was good, a good description, good hosts. thanks again.
A bathroom area features wooden-paneled walls, providing a warm, natural feel. A modern sink with a sleek faucet sits atop a light gray countertop, alongside a white toilet. Natural light is likely present, reflecting off the smooth surfaces.

Eden On The Rocks - Ocean Villa

They did a great job accommodating a relatively last-minute reservation. The house is just over a hill from the construction site for the new airport, so even though it's close you don't have any noise or ugly views. There are some restaurants/bars 10-15 minutes to the West in/near Calibishie. The best beach on the island (Batibou) is also close. However, other major sites are 45+ minutes away. It's a very quiet corner of Dominica.

Humming Bird Haven

What a gem. Top air bnb stay for me. Stunning beauty, surrounded by nature with sounds images cannot depict. The house itself, is so creatively and solidly made. Close to lots of local attractions (falls/hikes/hots springs) and the capital Roseau is a short drive down the hill. I stayed in 4 different locations in Dominica and this was my favorite. A perfect place to meditate and connect with the earth. There seemed to be a magic in the air here as I was in sync with nature and everything seemed to just fall into place. Hard to explain- but if you are going to Dominica and even considering staying her. Do yourself the favor and stay here. Even though I did not get a chance to meet the hosts (I was only there 2 nights), they were communicative and directions/instructions were easy to follow. When I return to Dominica, I will return to this heavenly retreat!
A serene view over the infinity pool captures the golden sun setting over the horizon. Lush greenery surrounds the pool area, enhancing the tranquil ambiance. The distant mountains and ocean are visible, creating a picturesque backdrop for relaxation.

Paradise Ridge Loft

We loved our stay at Monlights! It's the perfect place to stay in Dominica. The location is up in the mountains surrounded by trees, flowers, and birds with amazing views of the ocean and rainforest and its only a quick drive from the town of Portsmouth, that has lots of restaurants. We enjoyed taking easy day trips from the house to explore the island and the pool was a great amenity to use after a long day of exploring. The AC in the bedrooms worked really well and the smart TV with Netflix was perfect for movie nights. If we find ourselves back in Dominica, we would definitely choose to stay here again.
An open porch features a vibrant orange and white railing overlooking a calm sea. The horizon meets the sky in a range of soft blues, while the coastline and distant hills are visible in the background. A sign reading 'Coastal Catch' is prominently displayed.

Kubawi Beach Cottage

DebRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved our week here! Sitting on the balcony listening to or watching the ocean, only feet from the waters edge was idyllic! The house has a beach hut vibe, and we loved the quirky aspects, such as washing up outside the window where the sink was mounted, and showering underneath the house- especially convenient for coming in sandy! Clarkey has put a stong fan in the mezzanine and we had no trouble sleeping, though during the day we didnt sit up there, as it does get hot. The house is well equipped, for two or three people, everything is very cosy- which we loved. I would not recommend this lovely place for small children or older people ( we are in our 60's- so not old!) as the stairs, inside and out, might be tricky- but fun for those of us who still have knees and balance! The parking space is very handy, though care must be taken as its close to the wall edge. We managed it! If, like us, you prefer something a little different, and love the sea, this is perfect!
