Relaxing Riverside Paradise!

We loved our stay at the tiny house! It was easy to find with Madeleine's directions, and very convenient from Tuscaloosa. The house itself is a wonderful little gem, cozy and comfy for those looking to unwind. While the location does have neighbors, it still manages to feel private. The porch overlooking the water was our favorite thing. Absolutely peaceful and great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening. Would 100% book and stay here again!
A modern kitchen features sleek stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator and oven. Light grey cabinetry contrasts with a stylish backsplash of varying grey and white tiles. A countertop is adorned with decorative items, adding a touch of elegance to the functional space.

What a beautiful weekend. So roomy, comfortable and clean. The bed was a dream and we were able to set the air conditioning to our liking which made for some great nights sleep. But not just that, it’s a charming, meticulously designed and decorated space. Every detail was attended to. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

2.8 Miles to BD Stadium!

DawnRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This was the perfect spot for our family. My daughter had a competition at the University's Aquatic Center which meant we drove back & forth about 3 times a day and it took about 10 minutes. You wouldn't walk to the University from here but there is ample street parking over there. We also loved that the home had so many random items that you might need. For example I needed a bit of Hydrogen Peroxide & I found some in the bathroom. This saved me a trip to the pharmacy! There were also plenty of pans and dishes if you wanted to cook a quick meal. We walked around the area and enjoyed the cute shops nearby as well. There were plenty of pillows and throw blankets which is important to me. The bed we slept in was VERY comfortable and the AC was working perfectly (which is important in June). We will come back here for sure!
A serene pond is surrounded by trees displaying autumn foliage. The water reflects the clear blue sky and the sun. A gentle slope leads to the water's edge, creating a peaceful natural setting with hints of nearby wildlife.

Hidden Barndo by the Pond

We had a fantastic experience during Alabama graduation weekend—this location is less than 20 minutes from anywhere you need to be in Tuscaloosa. It’s the ideal place to stay if you’re looking for accommodations that are clean, comfortable, and hosted by genuinely wonderful people. My wife, daughter, and I would gladly stay here again—it would also be perfect for a game day weekend. These are wonder hosts!
A bright kitchen is featured, showcasing white cabinetry and a white stove. A small wooden table is set for two, adorned with a vase of fresh flowers. Natural light filters through the lace curtains, illuminating the light wooden flooring.
