Diego was truly warm and his staff was so gracious. The countryside where the house is located is magical. The house felt like it was a loving family home. We enjoyed every minute. The breakfast beyond yummy and plentiful. Diego helped us arrange transportation. We appreciated that cocora valley was nearby (30 min car ride) on a busy Easter weekend. The highlight was the private horseback ride for 10 of my family members including 8 yr old son who had his own cowboy to help lead him. The views …amazing!! So nice to be on a private mtn side away from the crowds, cars, and noise of the other horseback riding businesses. We could arrange our meals easily with his friendly staff. My son enjoyed being able to walk and play on his long driveway and made friends with the house dogs. We had a houseful of 15 family members and super comfortable! We wish we could go back sooner💕

We had a wonderful time at this finca. Two weeks went very, very fast. We’re hoping to come back some day!

We had a fantastic stay at Finca Villa Luz! The finca is beautifully situated in the middle of the coffee-growing region, surrounded by lush coffee plantations and vibrant orange and mango trees. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The farm is also very conveniently located, just a 2-minute drive from Parque del Café, which made it even more enjoyable. Jose Maria was incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel right at home. We can’t wait to return!

Together with my family, we enjoyed a few days of good rest, pleasant, the place is beautiful, highly recommended.

I already knew the house and I returned with my family, who also really enjoyed the stay. The house is spacious, comfortable and has everything you need to spend a time of rest and tranquility. The people in charge of the care of the house are very friendly and always willing to help.

Very nice place. As it appeared in the listing. The estate was very large and comfortable. Good decoration. The site was very close to the village by car, so it was possible to stock up easily. On the first night we had an inconvenience with the kitchen light, but the other day it was fixed without any problem. The caretakers of the estate were all the time very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is very well equipped. Beautiful landscapes to contemplate as well as hikes and animals. I would definitely return to the estate. Totally recommended.

Luis and Gina were excellent host. And Jenny and her husband in the kitchen, she is a super chef. The whole staff was very attentive to our needs. It’s an exceptional place to go and unwind for the weekend. They are also very pet friendly. Jenny cooked special meals for our picky eater, Elliot. You are surrounded by nature and it’s a bird lovers paradise. I would definitely return for another visit and would highly recommend it to other people. A very nice and quiet place. It's exactly what they offer. The house and its surroundings are well maintained and the managers Leonel and Virgelina are very attentive to what the guest requires. Very good spaces and beautiful landscape to enjoy as a family.

Beautiful place. Like being in Encanto. You will need to rent a Jeep to access this site. Up the mountains a bit as an FYI.

it is a spectacular place surrounded by nature, beautiful mountains, very friendly people: as are Doña Martha and Don José, who gave us a tour throughout the farm taught us to know the process of coffee,highly recommended for people looking to be in communion with nature and totally relax we will return, with all security, thank you very much for your hospitality and kindness.

The house is beautiful, large and comfortable, the kitchen has absolutely everything for one to be comfortable, good board games and a pool table that allowed us to have fun, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms although the hot water in the shower was a little intermittent, the pool was barely but very icy, the weather didn't help us much either. Stella was super attentive and kind to everything we needed. The road has some unpaved sections but they are passable, although with a lot of rain you might not be able to pass if you don't have a 4X4 truck. In general we managed to rest from the noise and stress of the city and spent a nice weekend with the family and resting comfortably! Thank you very much.

If you are looking for a charming and quiet accommodation with a stunning view by a warm and welcoming family, you are at the right place. More than just an accommodation, I had an unforgettable experience with Diego's family :) The room is tidy with all you need and Kimberly will prepare delicious meals for you :) Diego and his family are very friendly and make you feel like home. They will also share many recommendations with you and are always ready to show you the surrounding areas. You have amazing walks to do to La Virginia, waterfalls, or Peñas Blancas among others. The Maracasona estate is beautiful! We loved spending New Year's surrounded by nature, with so much peace and quiet. The dogs and cats made our stay very pleasant. Although there are insects and the weather can be variable, you get used to it easily. The house is very clean, very well equipped in the kitchen and with hot water.

I really want to emphasize how kind and respectful Katerine and her husband were. Wow, really, the first time we go to a place like this and they treated us so kindly and with such dedication. This is the second time we've stayed at this place as a family, and we still love it so much! Everything is perfect: comfortable, clean and very well located. A huge thank you to the lady who takes care of the house who is incredibly kind, always helpful and attentive. Her warm welcome makes our stay even more enjoyable. We will be back without hesitation! The accommodation is a property very close to the village (5 minutes by car). It is a very large and comfortable house, the facilities were in perfect condition. For people who like animals, it is an ideal place to share with the animals of the farm (dogs and cats). The owner was attentive to us at all times, and the butler and his wife are very attentive people. My family and I were 10 people and there was room for more people. The property has a beautiful view of the village and its surroundings. It's a totally recommended place.

This place is magical. Miguel, the person who will take care of you, is the absolute best. Only note: highly recommend to get a car, possibly a 4x4, as the road to get to the house is not great.

Excellent place to rest, share with family and connect with nature. We didn't miss the opportunity to use the pool all day. Israel's attention was constant and very helpful. Getting there was very easy and there is a Carulla relatively close by car. We would return 100%

We had a wonderful and quiet stay thanks to Sergio and his staff, Mrs. Sandra was very kind and helpful the whole time, they made us feel right at home. The spaces are just as shown in the photos, everything was tidy and clean, the house is spacious and has good air circulation, the beds were comfortable and large, the bathrooms were also spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything and even more, also very good size and ventilation. Plenty of green space. My family and I left very grateful and eager to stay with Sergio again, he communicated clearly and quickly all the time. I highly recommend the place, the whole experience is worth it.

If only I had more than 1000 characters to write how amazing the family that welcomed me in their home since day 1. This is a perfect place and balance to get away from the busy city of Periera, and you get to learn soo much about the processes of coffee. The surrounding area of their property is all beautiful and natural. The family are just as beautiful as their surrounding area and are super attentive. The rooms are clean, spacious, and private, can hear the nature from your room and is very therapeutic, I couldn't ask for more. I found my place of peace, and for sure will be returning as soon as I can, I wish I could keep this place a secret but this place is HIGHLY Reccomended.

Alejandra and Hector farm has much to offer--beautiful scenery, waterfalls, hiking, etc. however, the reason you must stay here is to meet hector Alejandra father, he is a SUPER NICE PERSON and her family, He's a fantastic host and truly made our time in Salento very fun and memorable.
