Cozy Secluded Treehouse

RachelRating, 5 stars6 days ago
What a gem! The treehouse is adorable and so unique. It is peaceful and fully stocked. There were farm fresh eggs, things to make smores,a fully stocked kitchen and fridge, and all the amenities needed. This is the first airbnb I've stayed at where I didn't have to go out to purchase groceries, etc. The home is comfy and has a homey feel. Cathy is amazing! She gave great instructions and was so quick to answer any questions. I left things behind and she quickly mailed them to me. Can't say enough how great this place is and how wonderful the host is!

Fulkerson-Hilton historic homestead

What a wonderful, peaceful environment to stay in! We loved the well-documented history of this house, as well the unique layout and feel of the home! It is surrounded by the amazing beauty and serenity of the surrounding property! Sitting on the front porch and back patio areas any time of day was so relaxing! The neighboring roads running along the beautiful river were also a great place to walk and bike. The house is in good proximity to a great variety of parks and recreational areas, as well as nearby towns and cities for dining or shopping. The kitchen is very well stocked for helping with food prep and meals. The owners and hosts were so welcoming and accommodating to us with personal touches and communication before and during our stay. They made us feel very comfortable and attended to, yet still free to enjoy our space and time. We would definitely consider returning to stay here in future and would highly recommend it to others visiting the area.

King Lux Bedrm w Living Rm near Main St & UVa-Wise

CatherinRating, 5 stars13 months ago
I felt the comforts of home! The 1895 house is beautiful and very clean! The outside doesn’t do justice for the inside. The B&B rooms are on the top floor. We were greeted by a couple cute kitty’s. They never go in the rooms. We stayed in the King bed room which has its own sitting room with a fridge. I felt more relaxed than any time I’ve stayed at a hotel. Our room had plenty of snacks and drinks and equipped for a light breakfast with cereal/Oatmeal, juices, etc. one day we wanted a full breakfast so we went to Huddle House that’s not far. They have breakfast starting at $5.99! Kimberly & Ben are super great host. If I had any questions, I could message Kim through Airbnb app and she would respond immediately! We defiantly plan to come back for our next family event! No more hotel for us!

Gap House on the Lonesome Pine

JessicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed staying here. It was clean, comfortable, and just the right size. The bathroom was beautiful with a nice rainfall shower. The mattress was comfortable on the bed and the place was spotless. Overall, a very comfortable stay. I wish we had been in town for more than 1 night. The location is close to downtown and I would have loved to see more of the town and surrounding scenery. Hopefully we will get the chance to come back!

Mountain Breeze at Mystic Mountain Farm

A beautiful property! So picturesque my 8 year old kept saying the views looked like paintings. The hosts were so gracious especially to our children who were excited and asking a number of questions about their adorable miniture donkeys, gypsy vanner horses and cows. My children got to help feed the animals on the last evening of our stay which was a wonderful way to cap off a great weekend. This area of VA is a hidden gem and we are thankful we found it!
