The apartment is a self contained living space that is very well appointed with bespoke furniture, fittings and original art. It has all of its own amenities so you should want for nothing. It is located two minutes from downtown Hilo. If you want you can walk to everything, including; shops, restaurants, beaches, bars, yoga studios, gyms and so on. If you are over 5' 10" you will need to mind your head in a couple of places so please be aware of this. We are always looking to improve.

Genes place was very clean,and comfortable. lots of space and nice kitchen area. ceiling fan is a life saver as it can get warm but everything worked great and the the view from the balcony is nice over looking the pool with all the greenery. Mahalo to Gene and O'hana!

A very nice, cozy apart. Very good location, 5 mins drive to the beach and shopping center around. 45 mins drive to the volcano NP and we saw the episode 23 eruption. Krista and Ala always responds very quicknd helpfu.

Delbert’s place was a great home base for exploring Hilo & the other parts of the Big Island. Walking distance to the main bus terminal, supermarkets, restaurants, & laundromat. The fountain outside the window helped me fall sound asleep every night. Delbert even hand delivered coffee filters when I informed him there weren’t enough coffee filters for my stay. I would love to stay here again next time I’m in Hilo. Mahalo, Delbert!

This was one of my favorite AirBnb experiences. First, the host, Jay, was so communicative and accomodating. From checking in with us after check in to checkout, he was one of the best host I have had the pleasure to deal with. I would rent again just because of how good Jay's communication was. He gave local recommendations, allowed us to park our car pass check out, etc. As for the actual rental. It was clean, perfect for the four women staying. Nice large kitchen, small living room when we cozied up and talked for hours. The area was quiet, with a very big parking lot. The rooms were clean, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided for showers. Finally, the location was unbeatable. Everything was walkable. Want mochi? Two ladies kitchen was around the corner. Downtown Hilo was less than a 10 minute walk. All in all, one of my favorite rentals and I plan to stay here again on my next trip to Hilo.

The little yellow guest house was immaculately clean, conveniently located, and well-equipped. We especially appreciated the generous coffee supply, and it was nice to be able to have a fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the sound of the rain on the roof and night, and the coqui frogs. The ti plants and plumeria in the garden enhanced the feeling of Big Island relaxation. We didn't use a car, could walk most places we wanted to go. Katrina was very responsive to messages and inquiries, kind and helpful. The tucked-away little house was an affordable rental and met our needs. Very appreciative.
