We had a fantastic two-night stay at this beautiful home on Springy Pond! The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for a getaway with friends and family. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and direct access to the lake, kayaking early in the morning and watching the sunrise over the water was absolutely magical. The kitchen was great, making it easy for us to cook and enjoy meals together. It was also a great base for visiting Acadia National Park, which we were able to explore during the day before coming back to relax by the lake in the evening. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic retreat with easy access to outdoor activities. We hope to come back someday!

We have stayed at Emilia’s places several times and are always happy to do so. It is an awesome place to stay while visiting UMaine. The location can’t be beat. The kitchen is functional and well stocked. We always get supplies from their store and cook at home for some meals. It is clean, comfortable and great parking. You can walk to restaurants, bars, the library and the river. We will miss it now that our Black Bear has graduated.

I would stay at this cabin again and again. The beds were comfortable, the environment was peaceful, and it had everything we needed. We traveled back and forth to Acadia National Park, and the distance was reasonable. We also spent time in Bangor, Orono and Old Town. All easy and pretty drives.
