Restored 200 Year Old Church

JessicaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Chris and Orla have the most gorgeous home I have ever seen. Not only are they kind and gracious hosts, they’re all true collectors of beauty!! The inside is just as stunning as the outside. The bell tower is such a sweet feature! I was late to check in and they still greeted me with tea and a little sweet treat. Breakfast was filling and beautiful. I let them know I’d like to take a bath and they had everything ready for me. What kind and lovely people. 10/10 would recommend

Double Ensuite

PearseRating, 5 stars94 months ago
This does exactly what it says on the tin plus a little more. Breakfast was really good, with a nice fruit medley thrown in. Immediately across the road from the house is a car-free running/cycleway that leads for about 2 miles in towards the town of Clifden. For a runner like me that really set this place apart cos running with cars on Irish country roads is scary otherwise.

Nora’s place - Henry Street - Galway City Centre

AlexRating, 5 stars3 days ago
My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Nora's. She was so accomodating and helpful—always asking if we needed anything when we walked in the house and leaving out a nice breakfast for us in the morning. Her place is such a short walk away from Quay Street and the main happenings, too. We enjoyed chatting with her and her sister Kitty, who were both keen to see us resolve our flat tire. We wouldn't question staying at Nora's again, as her hospitality, location, and price are all a great value for the Galway area.

The Lilac Room, Frenchville House

LeahRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a fantastic stay in Pam’s! We were lucky our room was available early to check-in, although early bag drop was available if not. The room was comfortable and clean with everything you could need for a stay including tea, coffees, and toiletries! The location is ideal overlooking the sea, less than 10 min walk to Galway city and a lovely 20 min stroll to Salthill promenade. The breakfast and friendly hospitality was the cherry on top with fresh scones, bread, jams and full Irish/French toast, we were spoiled! We were really happy with our stay, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Staying at Tom (and Mark's) home was an absolute highlight of our trip to Ireland. From the moment we arrived, Tom welcomed us with warmth and kindness (and Whiskey!), making us feel right at home. He is not only the sweetest man but also an exceptional host and conversationalist, with stories and recommendations that made our stay even more memorable. The atmosphere in his home is authentic and truly magical, capturing the essence of Ireland perfectly. And the breakfasts—wow! Each morning, we were treated to delicious, homemade meals and French press coffee that set the perfect tone for our day. Tom's hospitality made our trip to Ireland truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

We really loved our time at Fiona's place. Perfectly located right by the national park and very peaceful. The place has everything you need, from the fully equipped kitchen to cosy bedrooms. Fiona is super friendly and a great host. There's also a bar in the same building and we had an amazing time there as well, grabbing a Guinness after a long journey. We can fully recommend the place and would definitely stay there again!

5 out of 5 stars, wish we could give more! Marie Louise greeted us warmly upon arrival and we were treated like family. She is the loveliest down-to-earth person. Her home is as beautiful as the pictures. It was more than enough space for our family of 4, we even had an extra bedroom we did not use. Steps away from all the best restaurants and shopping. A short walk to the Aran Islands Ferry. Despite the amazing proximity, it’s a quiet street for night sleeping. The car park she recommended was closely located and easy to move our luggage. Marie Louise made us delicious breakfast each morning, at a time of our choosing, and we had great chats with her while we ate. Take all her recommendations - they were spot on. Would 100% stay here again!

SeaClusion- Along The Wild Atlantic Way Room 2

MathieuRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a great stay (5 nights) with Teresa, a lovely and endearing host, always concerned about our well-being. The house is conveniently located, 10-15 minutes drive from Galway. And a 5-minute walk, the village of Barna has all the amenities (supermarket, restaurants, ATM, post office, pharmacy). Teresa's house is very cozy, nice, the rooms are charming and clean, with comfortable bedding. Not all rooms overlook the sea. The TV is in the common rooms, not necessarily accessible in the evening. The dining room and its glass window offer a superb panorama of the ocean and bocage fields. And to enjoy it even better, Teresa's Irish breakfast is delicious and impeccable! A large terrace also allows you to settle outside while enjoying the scenery. We really enjoyed our stay at Teresa's and recommend this stop at the gates of Connemara
