“We have enjoyed our stay at Doriane’s place, the apartment was very clean and comfortable. Moreover it includes all the amenities that one might need. Doriane it’s very kind. I recommend this place.”

“We just finished 2 weeks and Serge's Pressoir and my wife and I couldn't be happier. Located just a 5-minute drive outside of Falaise (and specifically 5 minutes from the best boulangerie), as well as from the grocery store, we found that Serge's cider press was the perfect blend of escape and access to town amenities. The property is wonderful. The old stone pressoir is cool when it is hot and stays well insulated when it is cool. It is located by a nice pond where a family of 9 ducks just appeared and hung out for the last few days we were there. My wife had some work to do via the internet, and the internet worked just fine to accommodate Zoom meetings, and we were able to watch Netflix there. Also, I'm a history teacher, so if you're a fan of either medieval history or World War II history, there is simply no lack of great things to see and do around you. In Falaise itself, is William the Conqueror's castle, as well as the museum, memorial to the civilian victims of the Normandy campaign. So many of the villages around you figured into the war in some way, shape or form. Where Serge and Solange are, you're in the Canadian sector and near the Canadian (and Polish) military cemeteries. You are a scant 40 minutes from the Falaise Pocket memorial. Another 30 minutes gets you to Caen's major WWII museum as well as 45 minutes to Bayeux's museums for both D-Day and the Bayeux Tapestry. 10 minutes beyond Bayeux gets you to Gold beach and the Longues sur Mer Batteries. I mean, there is no end to the history you can access. Oh, and by the way, Serge brews his own quality cider using his own apples, and makes his own apple cider vinegar. We can't wait to get back there and, in fact, have already booked an additional stay. If you want a rustic escape, with easy access to town and friendly and accommodating hosts who live close by and are accessible, but respect your privacy, then Serge's lovely Pressoir is for you.”
In a quiet Hamlet, for 2 to 4 persons. Ideal base for the beaches (north), Mont Saint Michel (west) and sport leasures in Swiss normandy (south).
“I had a great time with Emma on this tour. It turned out to be only me and Emma on the tour, but I really appreciated the time she took to show me around the city personally. We had plenty of time to get to know each other, and she showed me some sights in Catania, and recommendations for restaurants etc to try which was above and beyond what I was expecting. I tried 3 of the drinks from the kiosks, including a mandarin one, and lemon and salt one, and a really rich nutella drink, which I couldn't quite finish as I was so full! I really appreciated the time Emma took to show me around and she was great to spend time with. A great introduction to the city. Thanks Emma!”
