Escape to this private sanctuary, a hidden gem on the shores of a pristine lake. The cabin offers 2-bedrooms, plus additional sleeping in the 24ft yurt (unheated) and twin trundle beds upstairs. Living room with wall of glass doors opens to spacious deck. Cozy up by the gas fireplace or unwind in front of the TV. Kitchen provides space to cook and room for 6 to gather. In the open-air loft, you'll find a queen bed, walk-in closet, and 3/4 bath with tub. Park-like yard features dock and firepit.

The Nut House

Your private parking and short trail leads to a short cable bridge into a cozy 150 sq. ft. cabin 13 ft above the forest floor. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany walls with a cozy full size futon up in the loft. If the futon is too cozy a campsite is available. The treehouse is warm even on chilly nights.

Thompson Cottage

Our sweet little cottage has recently been updated with laminate floors, new trim, doors, butcher block counter tops and back splash. Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from the Keurig in the morning and snuggle up on the large sectional with a movie in the evening. All of our bedding is cotton and the queen bed has a memory foam topper on it. Recently built fence separates the yard for privacy. Lots of love went into creating this cozy, happy place for guests to stay.

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. We are in the heart of Skagit Valley. Our quaint downtown is a quick 10 minute walk. Less than 20 minutes away by auto you can visit Edison, La Conner, and the Salish sea. Many shops, trails, events and foodie fare are in our Guest Guide please have a look as we were thinking of you when we complied all our favorites places. This cabin is perched on a granite ledge overlooking the legendary Canyon Creek, which can be seen from nearly every one of the expansive windows. After spending a day exploring one of the nearby epic hiking trails, you'll be rewarded by a relaxing soak in the riverside hot tub or a board game with friends by the fire.

The Granary is a recently converted 110 year old grain shed (remodeled Summer 2020). It features a full kitchen, vaulted ceilings, bedroom loft and beautiful .75 bath. Located on the West side of Mount Vernon, it is minutes from I-5, yet situated on a 40-acres of farmland, next to an original barn and behind the main farmhouse. Good WiFi for work, ramp access and a ground-level hide-a-bed. Large West-facing deck and hot tub to enjoy sunsets.
