Thatch Cottage by the Sea on Galway Bay

JoniRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Beautiful thstched roof cottage on the sea. Spent a peaceful two nights and enjoyed the nearby walks that Paul had recommended including the restaurant in nearby Ballyvaughn. We even had a tourist bus stop in front of the cottage for photos! That's how charming it is! Thanks you so much for sharing your home with us!

Our family of 5 plus a baby had a wonderful time ! The beach access , large house with room for everyone to have space - the large kitchen and patio area - we enjoyed being together watching amazing sunsets and playing games. Tom and Patricia were so helpful and friendly. Wonderful stay !
A serene sunset casts soft hues of orange, pink, and purple across the sky, reflecting on the calm water. The coastline and distant buildings are silhouetted against the vibrant backdrop, creating a tranquil evening scene.

Perfect Family break , Fantastic Location & Host Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful home. The location was ideal just a short walk to Kilkee Beach and less than 5 minutes to the town center, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and all amenities. The house was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely accommodating, making sure we had a super experience from check-in to check-out. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Kilkee and would highly recommend it to anyone. We’ll definitely be back .

Maisie's seaside Cottage

LeahRating, 5 stars74 months ago
What a cute little cottage. I came here with my two dogs. We were made feel so welcome! Sinead and her husband met me very promptly! They had eggs from their chickens, bread and milk when I arrived! They were very informative about anything i asked. What fabulous people. There are so many beaches around , the cottage is only a 3 minute drive from the village. We had everything we needed and a big area for the dogs to hang out outside. A great escape from a hectic world! I'll be back

Circular Road, 3 bedrooms ensuite, sunny garden.

FionaRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Carol's house is a lovely home and we found it as described. It was perfect for our golden retriever with a lovely enclosed back garden and tiled floor downstairs. It was great to find basic condiments in the kitchen (salt, pepper, olive oil, tea, coffee etc) and shampoo and soap in the bathrooms. Beds were comfy. One of the showers had very little water pressure but Carol advised us of this prior to arrival. The location was perfect, only 5mins to the beach and restaurants. The beach has signs that dogs are not allowed between 11am and 6pm from May to September. This didn't impede our trip as it got us up early to get our doggie out for her morning swim. Good restaurants in Kilkee, but I would recommend booking in advance during busy times. Carol was always available by text if we had any queries. I will definitely book Carol's house for my next trip to Kilkee.

We fell in love with Lahinch from the moment we arrived. This charming seaside town offers a perfect mix of cozy pubs, local shops, and a vibrant atmosphere. Top notch experience. Max was very easy to communicate with and answered immediately with the lone question I had. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped with gear, and the outdoor area really made it a special stay. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. 3 minute walk to a art gallery/cafe, 4 to the beach, 5 to a restaurant/bar. If this place is available don't screw around, just book it.

Rockfield Cottage

Loved staying at Fauve’s place, the cottage near Kinvara. Housed my wife and I, our two kids, and my parents. On a secluded coastal/marsh drive off Galway Bay, it’s peaceful and quiet. The house is just as beautiful as the photos. Fauve knows how to decorate - it’s like a showroom inside. Comfy beds, quiet surroundings, huge yard space for the kids to play. The Travellers Inn is just down the street to grab a pint! Don’t hesitate booking this place, it was awesome.
