Stay with 日本family, easy to go to Sapporo & Otaru

OttoRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Excellent stay in Kazue’s beautiful home. Whilst, it is a bus and metro ride away from Sapporo city centre, her hospitality and rural stay offers an authentic homestay. She made us a delicious breakfast both mornings (only ¥1000 yen each) which overlooked her garden filled with tulips and vegetables. The beds were super comfy and it’s a great space for chilling and a more relaxed stay in the area. It is private and separated from the rest of the house too. Maeda Forest Park is about a 20-minute walk away and is worth a visit if the weather is dry. Kazue is a delightful human and she made us feel completely at home immediately. Unless you’re looking for a place in the heart of the city, then look no further than staying with Kazue.

This is one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in. The house is beautiful. Everything is spotless and perfect. I loved how clean the toilets are. 😁 The location is incredible too. It's a short drive to all our various destinations and there are some great food options in the area. I would definitely recommend this awesome place!
A modern living area features a comfortable sofa, stylish chairs, and large windows allowing natural light. A large screen displays a serene view of a pagoda with mountains in the background. Glassware is arranged on a counter, enhancing a functional kitchen setting.

Locally popular Maruyama Park area! 7-minute walk from Maruyama Park subway station. There are also many popular shops!

KathyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
A great home-away-from-home while I was in Sapporo for three weeks. Communication with hosts was excellent both before and during my stay, they were kind and helpful. The apartment is spacious, quiet and comfortable. Easy walk to the subway station for a quick ride into central Sapporo and lovely to have Maruyama Koen close by. Really enjoyed the neighborhood, so many restaurants, cafes and shops close at hand. I would definitely stay here again!

It was cozy for four nights. The communication was very smooth from the process of going down to the check out, and the host would also be attentive during the stay if anything else was needed, the room was clean and bright enough to see how attentive the host took care of it. We were touched by the fact that we had a baby dining chair with over a year old and thoughtfully prepared. The room is two double beds, enough for us two big and one small good rest. Will definitely visit again if there is another chance.

① Opening August 2024! Twin Bed Room Astoria Sapporo [* Must Read Description]

The accommodation is large and spacious overall, so it's great. The location was a little far from the main street, so it was nice and quiet. Still, it's worth walking to Susukino. And I was so grateful that Satorisan was so kind and tried to give me more information.😄 I think I'll revisit enough.

Private lodging, owner stays with Hokkaido Dog

川崎Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
Only one night in Sapporo, but Touichiro the Hokkaido dog stole my heart. Cautious by nature, yet he sniffed me curiously from the start. A bit of play—and suddenly, I had a clingy, bitey best friend. By morning, we were tight. Then came goodbye. He didn’t bark or chase—just stared with those sad eyes from his corner. Like he knew. It hurt more than I expected. Ah—but this is a stay review, isn’t it? (I’m Japanese, but I heard many guests come from abroad—so I’m writing this in English.) The house was calm and cozy, the kind of place where time slows down. The host? Gentle, almost monk-like. And though the area felt remote, a convenience store just 80m away was a small, quiet miracle.
An elevator entrance is positioned within a clean, modern hallway. The sleek black doors are framed by light-colored tiled walls, with subtle lighting enhancing the contemporary design. An elevator control panel is visible beside the doors, indicating accessibility for guests.
