Waterfront vacation rentals in Christ Church

My partner and I stayed for a week in Jess’s apartment, whilst I surfed and remote worked from the UK and close to my partners home in Oistins. Jess’s cosy apartment was just what we were looking for, private, quiet, comfortable and with lots of outside living space. The breeze blows through all the open shutters making it nice and cool and we enjoyed dinners in the garden and afternoon naps in the hammock. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Freights Bay to surf and 20 minute walk to Miami Beach and Oistins for the shops and places to eat. Jess was the highlight of the trip giving us loads of great recommendations and an all round great host and person. We will definitely be keeping in touch and saying again!

Modern, cosy and extremly clean. The apartment was neat and well equipped with everything you would need and more. Boasted some stunning views of the ocean. The hosts are really cool and responive. SOV301 is centrally located if you’re planning to enjoy the beaches and nightlife, up the west coast or down the south coast. 100% would stay here again.

We were there for a family reunion. Lots of us were scattered about at LC , Salty Toes, Barefoot Bay etc. so the location is great for convenience, grocery shopping, bakery etc. Lots of sea weed at this time of year which is not great. But can’t beat location for convenience. If you plan not to rent a car, it is easy to move about on foot or by local transport. Noisy though at night as a busy junction.

We could mot imagine any bettee location..directly on the beach..amazing terraxe on the top appartmen. we felt like home on our full week of stay. further we got free beds and umbrella on the beach every day. A full during stay cleaning with a glance. Gregory was always reachabble..around with lot of recomonantions and any help we required. We hope to stay again in this wondeeful place.

It was exactly what I needed. Beautiful set up and location love the levels. Very spacious. Amazing beach setting Sound of waves all day Very local. Everything in walking distance or a cheap z van. Thank you for everything

David and his team were fantastic, right from the moment we contacted them inquiring about a last minute booking. The rental is stunning, spotless and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. They honestly thought about everything. The staff on site were super sweet, helpful, a true pleasure to chat with. I highly recommend this piece of heaven , we loved it and know you will too !

Great location near the Gap, very spacious apartment, great pool, incredibly flexible and friendly local host (Orissa) (the flexibility was much appreciated as we had four 2 and under!) - an overall great stay!

The Sea Gaze apartments are a wonderful property and I've been hoping to stay there in my past 4 visits to Barbados, but they had been booked out much in advance. It has direct access to Freights Bay for surfing or fishing and I was able to check out the surf conditions from the kitchen as I made breakfast every morning and have a beer watching the sunset from the patio The unit is a good size for a couple or solo traveler with a spacious bedroom and bathroom. I am a light sleeper so I brought earplugs and that would be a good idea if you are also a light sleeper as the waves roll in right below the building. I stayed for a few weeks in November and was able to setup a work station in the bedroom where I was comfortably able to work with the US in the afternoons and evenings while surfing and walking into Oistins (around a 10 minute walk) in the mornings. Tristan and her team were responsive and available upstairs during the day and there are laundry facilities onsite.

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

I would highly recommend this location. Being on the beach and hearing the ocean was amazing. The beach doesn't get a lot of traffic, so it felt very private. We would stay here again. Katherine was also a great host.

Salty toes is unbelievable!, and it's a must visit! From the cleanliness of the house itself to the sandy beach coming right up to the outdoor seating area, simply amazing! It's one of those places that's quiet and off the main street but it has everything on its doorstep! lovely bars, restaurants, food courts, lovely boardwalks etc it has it all.. the house was spotless, fully stocked with everything you could imagine. Big cooker, big fridge freezer/ washing/ dryer facilities. Salty toes has ample space for families. Two big seating areas inside for eating at, and then the outdoor area just has to be seen! Amazing! All 3 bedrooms were huge, crisp clean linen and all beds with memory foam mattresses! We'll definitely be back to Salty Toes, home away from home. I'd be giving this place 20/10! Top Class Chloe, keep up the good work!

We had an amazing stay! The location of the place is extremely quiet and calming the perfect getaway. The ocean view was definitely my favorite part; waking up to it every morning was a dream. We had a small hiccup at the beginning of our stay, but the host handled it with excellent communication and kindness, even though the issue wasn’t their fault. You're about 10–20 minutes away from most things, which made it easy to explore while still enjoying peace and privacy. Overall, it was an incredible experience and we can’t wait to book again!

Karen's place was perfect for our family of four for a week in March. We were greeted upon arrival for check in, and appreciated the warm welcome. The home was larger than we anticipated. The amenities helped us feel comfortable, and we had everything we needed after a quick stop at the local market nearby. The view on the back deck was lovely in the morning watching turtles swimming all around; during the afternoons filled with surfers; and at dusk for beautiful sunsets each evening. The pool was delightful and we enjoyed it for many hours. The location was perfect for walking to Surfers Cafe, Oistins and other local eateries; morning walks along the southern part of the island; and exploring small beaches nearby. Friday night at Oistins Fish Fry was a highlight, and only a 15 minute walk from Karen's. We would highly recommend Halcyon on Freights Bay if you are visiting Barbados.

We loved our stay at this grand old home. It’s a vintage beach property with more space than our group of 8 needed. Along with the amenities listed, there is also 2 outdoor showers and changing rooms and a bathroom. We opened all of the downstairs windows and doors and had a wonderful breeze that kept the house comfortable. We felt very safe at the property and enjoyed walking to nearby restaurants and bars. We had a few issues but Melissa resolved them quickly. The home is not updated but we loved the vintage charm more than a modern property.

This may be the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in! Great location, amazing views, well equipped, and wonderful hosts! Hannah and Russell were extremely communicative and helpful throughout the entire stay. Next time I'm back in Barbados I will be aiming to stay here again!

Wow, just wow! Amazing views. Picture postcard views everywhere in this stunning villa. Tina and Philip were the perfect hosts met us on arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful throughout our stay. They helped arrange our groceries and also our car hire. They even dropped off bottles of drinking water when the water in the whole area went off! The Villa is simply stunning and our whole family had an amazing time here with a lovely small cove beach perfect for snorkelling. Just on the Boardwalk - so lovely to walk down along the shore to the restaurants. The Villa was so well equipped with everything you should need for your stay. The only small negatives for our family were the noisy road early mornings (we knew about and can’t avoid beach front) and lack of a smart tv for Netflix/Amazon TV etc. Would highly recommend and we had an amazing time here in Barbados!

We spent 11 great vacation days at the blue waters condo. We felt at home from the very first moment! It has enough space, is clean, well equipped, cozy garden, quietly located.... The location is also excellent, a short walk to our favorite beach, Oistins is also within walking distance. And the communication with Alicia worked great! We really enjoyed our stay, especially the views from the patio where we spent the morning drinking coffee and having breakfast. Location was close to good restaurants and the unit had plenty of space to accommodate our family of 5. The pool was a good size and perfect to take a late afternoon swim after an exploring the island (and was in the shade for the late afternoon). The location felt very secure with gated access to/from the beach, the street, and interior doors that were locked late in the evening to access the elevators. Parking spot is very narrow and was a bit tricky to navigate, but we made it work.

Kevin was warm, welcoming and kind. He met us as we arrived from the airport and was very generous with some little ‘welcome’ items for us to enjoy as well as some local recommendations. The apartment is beautiful with a great size balcony directly overlooking the ocean with access to a lovely pool & steps down to the beach. The rooms were clean and we had plenty of spare towels and linen for the beds which was great. Cleaning products supplied but we replaced what we used to ensure the next guests had some :) Overall, we had an amazing holiday and Kevin checked in on us to ensure all was OK - a nice touch! He’s also very responsive which is always reassuring! For anyone visiting - Would really recommend the street food market behind the gas station opposite the apartment - some great food in there. If you’re into breakfast, try out ‘park cafe’ in its own little haven behind massy store - GREAT food. To summarise - THANK YOU, Kevin - we will 100% be back!!

This was our first time in Barbados and this property made for a great trip. We would definitely stay there again. Great location right in the middle of all the St Lawrence Gap action and restaurants, but still felt secluded and private when on property. We were greeted at the location when we arrived and given a thorough walk through of the property as well as local recommendations. If you are looking for a place to stay on the south coast look no further!

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Maxwell Beach Villas! Yonette was an excellent host- always prompt in answering our questions. We were welcomed with rum punch and fresh rum cake! The pictures accurately describe the layout of condo and it was extremely clean and neat upon arrival . The view of the ocean and pool really blew us away, we never got tired of sitting on the terrace and enjoying the ocean view. It is important, though, to mention that the beach directly in front of the property is much smaller than shown in the pictures. I do wish the photos were more accurate to the current state of the beach. There is a large amount of seaweed there as well. For this reason we didn’t use the beach directly on the property but luckily it’s a short drive to many gorgeous beaches which we enjoyed throughout the week. The condo is also situated near many restaurants and stores. Our children loved the pool on the property and swam every day. Overall this was a very relaxing vacation!

We had a perfect stay at Robert’s place, we absolutely loved it. I stayed with a friend, and we each brought one of our children. We were really grateful for the early check-in and late check-out, especially with young children. The location is the best, we come to Barbados every year, and this is by far one of our favourite spots. The swimming pool was lovely and clean, and a great bonus during our stay. Robert was a great host, very responsive, and June, who checked us in, was such a lovely lady. We really hope Robert’s place is available next time we visit!
