A warm welcome to Hidden Valley Homestay Stakmo. Hidden Valley Homestay is located in the Village of Stakmo and is around 40 minutes drive ( 21 Kilometers ) from the city of Leh. The Famous Thiksey Monastery is just 15 minutes drive from my home and a visit to Thiksey monastery morning prayers is a must while staying here. Amazing Dayz - A 3-minute walk from door to sand.

When I visit the condo I tend to do…not much (whole point of my visit). I begin w/coffee on the deck then a walk on the beach. Afterwards, to The Break for eggs, biscuit, grits. Back to the beach. Shower. Dinner out. Close by favs are Shuckers 2 (laid back/casual) & Pirates Deck (REALLY laid back/casual). Lastly (day’s gone already!), a walk to Dairy Queen. There's a full kitchen of course; it's quite nice to look up and see just a bit of the ocean while at the kitchen counter preparing a meal.

A green spacious house for a peaceful vacation. The place is centrally located and is close to the cafes and shopping areas. The house has a common place to relax and talk to fellow travellers, and enjoy the local bukhari heating in winters. There are 2 cats to play with. We provide room heater in months of extreme cold of December, January, February. Water is provided in bucket in winter since the pipes freeze. Simple in-house food is also available at extra cost if informed in prior.
