At approximately 5200 feet above sea level, the Lake Atitlan area enjoys year-round spring-like weather (70s to low 80s during the day and 60s at night). Although temperatures remain relatively constant throughout the year the weather is marked by two distinctive seasons: the rainy season (May to October) and the dry season (November to April). During the rainy season the mountains and volcanoes surrounding the lake are verdant green. The mornings are generally crystal clear, while the afternoons bring spectacular showers that are a sight to behold as they roll in over the lake. During the dry season it is rare to receive any precipitation at all. La Casa Colibri has five luxurious guest rooms each with en-suite bath. Four rooms have spacious balconies overlooking the lake. Two rooms have deep soak tubs with separate showers.

I stayed at Julio's place with my husband and 2 kids. It was a blast! We really enjoyed it! Most beautiful view in that area around the lake ! Julio is very responsible,helpful and friendly as all his stuff! I Would recommend it to all!

We had a little family vacation here and it was everything is was advertised to be and more! The staff are all very helpful and responsive. Salvador the property manager was incredible! From keeping the pool clean between our times in to doing grocery runs into the city, he was amazing. All the activities listed were so fun and very family friendly! The rooms were all very clean and there was even bug spray to help with the incests outside. All the local contacts for boat and tour services were also incredibly sweet. Very considerate, accommodating and for a friendly price! Overall, we would definitely consider coming back should we ever want to visit Atitlan and the surrounding towns.

Es como estar en tu hogar es un lugar del que uno no quiere salir, los anfitriones son excelentes personas, responden de inmediato, están al pendiente qué uno este bien y sobre todo tuvieron detalles con nosotros que agradecemos de todo corazón, mi familia del salvador quedaron encantados, regresaremos muy pronto sin duda. it was a beautiful place to stay in. finding it was a bit difficult but we found it. Tomas was a very nice guardian and he took his time to show us the house. if you're coming to see the market this is the perfect place to stay at. The market was about 3 minutes walking. the parking is a little tricky if you decide not to pay for parking but it's definitely doable.

A shaded balcony features a small round table surrounded by two wrought-iron chairs. The wooden flooring adds a natural touch, while greenery and trees are visible in the background, enhancing the outdoor setting.
