Monthly Rentals in Chiang Khan

The house, built by wooden entirely, is in a farm along side the Mekong river, about 6 km away from the Chiang Khan town, built by the host Tc gradually in 15 years before his retirement. Tc and his wife shared some food with me, most of which come from this very farm. The food is very very delicious and cooked in a health way. I did not drive but Tc is very kind and offered to drop me off at the town. As for return, it is easy to find tuk-tuks in the eastern end of the walking street, but drivers can only speak a bit of English and since the destination is a farm instead of a hotel they are familiar with, it is hard to communicate with them to make them understood the exact destination if you cannot speak Thai. It is much easier to call Tc and let Tc to communicate with the driver instead. Tc's wife also recommended a restaurant near the eastern end of the walking street and on a road in parallel with the walking street. The local food in the restaurant is delicious.

we felt right at home. hosts were so accommodating in everyday possible. every enquire I had they reapond super quick. My kids love all the kitty cats there too. very easy to find and get around from there too. thank you so much for the amazing weekend get away and thank you so much from all 12 of us xxx

Very comfortable room on the ground floor with its own bathroom and kitchen and parking space. Walking street starts just down the alley, with the Mekong river right next to it. Kullanist had the cleaning lady waiting for us at arrival and serving us quality coffee at departure in the morning. Would love to come again:)
