The house is great with a private bathroom for every bedroom. The fireplaces are amazing - very cozy. Snowmobile trail #5 borders the back yard which worked great for our family snowmobile trip. The kitchen is very well equipped and worked well for all of our meals.

Beautiful. We watched the deer every morning while we sat on the deck and had coffee. Close to Deadwood. Very clean and quite. Great place to stay!

Jim was a fantastic host and the property exceeded our expectations. It was wonderfully detailed, and was perfect for our family gathering with 10 adults and 6 kids under 3. There are numerous spaces in the home to sit and gather, the kitchen has all the utensils and high quality pots and pans to cook a large meal, and the location is fantastic. Throughout our stay many of our family members commented on how perfect the home was. Would love to come back!

Nice cabin in a quiet neighborhood that's easily accessible from the highway. Clean and well stocked for making meals and comfortable after returning from the day's adventures. We would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing week we spent in the hills, Mark was a fantastic host, house is absolutely beautiful, we had 9 of us and it was perfect, 3 families, we all had our own space when we needed it, yet enough room for all of us to gather and play cards and chat!! Mark was on top of everything we asked for, its clean, linens are very nice, appliances are up to date and work perfectly!! Hot tub was clean, deck is very enjoyable!!! If youre thinking about a trip to the blackhills... book this place right now!!! we will be back!!

Lenora was an amazing host! I went last minute and she had great and quick communication. Everything went perfect and she had a beautiful home!

The cabin was just as advertised and very clean. Savannah was very communicative and quick to respond to messages. We would stay here again!

Angela’s stay was awesome! Super cozy and clean. We loved the copper counter, the soft towels, and the cozy beds! Angela has a super accommodating linen and trash policy. Overall, we had a great time and were constantly saying how much we loved this place. If I’m ever staying in South Dakota, I’ll go out of my way to stay here again!

We are return visitors to this cabin - we just had to come back! With an unbeatable location, this wonderful home has great amenities and an outdoor space that is truly amazing. We love this welcoming, clean home, perfect for a family or small group. Super well maintained. Highly recommend!

It’s quiet. We rested well. Older cabin is FUNky but FUNctional. We liked the outside fire pit with plenty of wood.

Cozy, beautiful and peaceful location. Dogs loved playing on the grass. Saw elk early one morning!!

This was a great place to stop and stay on our way to Yellowstone. We stayed here a couple nights. We were close to many of the places we wanted to go in Black Hills. It was a very neat and clean space. Bathrooms were also clean and comfortable!

could not recommend Michelle’s cabin more! it was so cozy and had absolutely everything we needed. wonderful location - very reasonable driving time to everything the Black Hills has to offer (most attractions are within 45 minutes). neighborhood is beautiful but not too secluded as to feel unsafe. an absolute must if you are planning a trip to SD

it was very clean and cozy. Beautiful place. Would stay again if they would have us. only 2 things, 1 Toni way under estimated the parking area, there was far more parking than we would ever needed. 2 grill could use some work or replaced. only one burner would light with igniter. everything else was great.

We absolutely loved this little place! Definitely off the beaten path and it was so peaceful. If you love quiet this is the place to stay! Margaret & Derito were the perfect hosts! Derito gave us recommendations for places to eat, and Margaret made us a wonderful dessert! We loved their trout pond. We are already planning our return visit to this beautiful place! We enjoyed our little trips into Sturgis, Deadwood, Mt Rushmore, Keystone and Nemo. We loved renting an atv and went trail riding. Exploring natural beauty was priceless. We already have a list started of things we didn’t see this trip to hit up next year! Thank you so much for the perfect place for some much needed downtime from our day to day busy life! This house in the mountains was exactly what my soul needed—and what my back needed after hauling kids and groceries uphill (worth it). Peaceful, cozy, and so quiet I started to wonder if I’d accidentally wandered into a Hallmark movie. The views? Unreal. The vibe? Immaculate. The only downside is I had to leave and return to reality.

It was great staying on the mountain. Very peacful. Hot tub was a relif after the long drive. Would stay there again!

Lovely little cottage amidst beautiful surroundings, relatively close to all the Black Hills attractions that you would want to see. Comfortable beds, very nicely stocked kitchen. The hosts communicated clearly and promptly. Our family of four stayed for three nights, using it as our base of operations to visit the Badlands, Rushmore, and Jewel Caves. It was a cozy and comfortable place to land after drives and hikes, and we were able to cook meals in the kitchen each night, with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, etc. (+some pantry staples & spices, quite nice!). The decor is lovely, and the bathroom has a great tub. AC kept the space very comfortable. Only mild complaint- the early morning sun hits the bedroom pretty hard, so if you like sleeping like a vampire (like my wife and I), bring an eye mask, because the curtains are pretty translucent. We’d definitely come back!

I loved staying at Linda's cabin. It was easy to find and close to where I wanted to be in the Hills, but not in the city, so it was quiet. The cabin had everything I needed and I slept great every night. Linda gave me some great suggestions for things to do that I hadn't thought of and I used her suggestions and loved each drive and hike. I would definitely stay here again!

Had a great stay with family. There was enough room that everyone had their private space but enough gathering places that we could spend quality time together. The Wi-Fi was fast for the kids' online classes and my meetings. Overall, great memories were made! Perfect location to travel to the many nice places in the area.

This place was spectacular, even better than the photos indicated. The setting could not be more gorgeous and we could have spent the whole time just sitting in the yard taking in the views. We were looking for a calm, peaceful, serene get-away where we could take hikes and this place fit the bill perfectly. The house was clean and abundantly provisioned. Everything was in order and very clean. Julie the Co-Host was responsive immediately when I had a question and was helpful. We’ll definitely go back when we return to the Black Hills.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway here! The older kids loved exploring the wooded backyard and searching for turkey feathers, while the adults really enjoyed relaxing in the open upper living area, the spacious and peaceful deck, and the hot tub. The home had plenty of bathrooms to accommodate everyone, and the large kitchen made it easy to prepare a few meals together. We did have a couple of minor issues. The bed in the bedroom near the main entrance was actually a futon, which was uncomfortable for an adult to sleep on. Additionally, we needed to do a bit of minor childproofing for the 3-year-old, moving decor and the glass coffee table. We also placed a chair where the main level railing and the steps to the loft meet, as there was a large gap that a child (or even a small adult) could potentially crawl through and fall down the stairs to the basement. It would be great to see this addressed for future guests or at least noted in listing or check in instructions for safety.
