The apartment is located in the charming and central Mount Pleasant district, a leafy neighborhood with a small-town feel, historic architecture, and vibrant culinary offerings. The apartment enjoys good access to public transportation: major bus stops are 1 to 2 blocks away and Columbia Heights metro station is less than a 10 minute walk (Cleveland Park Metro is a short bus ride away). Street parking is available on a first come, first served basis but residential parking permits are required during the week (not weekends) if you plan to park more than 2 hours at a time. There are two master bedrooms with walk-in showers, as well as a lovely play set in the back yard. The 1st floor master closet was converted into a simple nursery with a crib and baby swing. The master bedroom on the 2nd floor has a king size bed for parents and a twin size bed for a child.
