Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin

The gite is in a beautiful remote setting. The house is spotlessly clean. It has been renovated and decorated beautifully and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. It is possible to walk to Quettehou, the nearest town. There is a supermarket just outside Quettehou, just a five minute drive away. There are nice restaurants in Saint Vaast la Hougue and in Barfleur, a short drive away. Would recommend tor a quiet relaxed getaway.

Super accommodation ... beautiful house ... great layout ... with the kitchen/diner and sitting room in one big room on the middle floor the Estuary views whilst eating or relaxing are quite wonderful !

Florence's apartment is on two levels in a single-family house with a garden. The house is very easy to access and has an internal courtyard for the parking space. The view of the garden is delightful. The apartment is equipped with every comfort and we found it very bright and clean. Florence and Carole are lovely hosts. We had a pleasant extended weekend with our little boy at Mathilde's. The accommodation is super nice and matches the photos. It is cozy, well-equipped and well-decorated. It is also well located for wandering (especially) in the North of Cotentin. Mathilde is very responsive and considerate.

A fantastic farm based country retreat. Close to all the attractions of Northern Normandy, not far from Cherbourg and its amenities. Many beaches and coastal paths to explore nearby. Easy travelling distances to D Day beaches and Mont St Michel. Highly recommended home, great hosts and beautiful location.

The house is charming in a quiet hamlet in the heart of nature. Everything was perfect and nothing was missing. The decor is beautifully thought out and the bedding perfect. We had a great time at Olga's, who is very responsive to answering our questions.

Our group of 7 50 something men really enjoyed our 5 day stay in Normandy. Charlotte met us on arrival and showed us around the extensive house and facilities. The house was great with a well equipped kitchen, great covered and heated pool, tennis court and more. We didn't manage to make use of the bikes or canoes that were also at our disposal. Bedrooms were clean with good beds. My only criticisms would be that there was only seating for 5 in the living room, toilets did not have basins, and the directions were not great - a what.3.words location would have been really helpful. Overall, it was a great place to stay and one of our group plans to return with their family later in the year.

Everything went very well as usual when we come to Carteret, which we love for its calm and the beauty of its landscapes. We really enjoyed the apartment, very nice, practical, nicely furnished and decorated. A stone's throw away from the dunes and close to the beaches, it is a small peaceful cocoon conducive to disconnecting. Great place to stay, good location great views. Flat was well equipped, and very comfy. Tamsin was very helpful, and contacted us during the stay to check everything was ok. We had a lovely time.

Superb accommodation! Clean, great location. Loads of utensils etc including tea and coffee, the flat has everything you need. No private parking but parking locally was easy, exactly as Jade had described it. Lots to do within walking distance. I would highly recommend this accommodation for enjoying Jersey!

Good downtown apartment to stay at, close to many restaurants, and accurately described. Did not have any issues with noise, even with the windows open. I will note that like others commented, the shower pressure is a bare trickle, like a camp shower. Everything was clean and Cheney was friendly, responsive.

Responsive and friendly host. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped and well-located in relation to the sea. The house is suitable for a family with 1 or 2 children (even with 1 baby). Also suitable for dogs where we could let our female dog roam in the large fenced garden. Looking forward to coming back for the beautiful days and enjoying the garden. A great stay by the seaside. Morgane's place is perfect! It's beautiful, clean, convenient, good location and more. The interior is very well designed, spacious and comfortable. Everything you could possibly possibly need is available. The garden is beautiful, well exposed and above all well fenced (ideal with our dog). The hot tub is the plus we would not have thought about but which we enjoyed with pleasure. The beach is very close, the town is pretty and quiet and Morgane has a good suggestion if you are looking for activities nearby. We really had a great week, thank you again to our hosts for their great place and their responsiveness in answering our questions. I would recommend it in a second!

Great accommodation, nice, beautiful terrace, very functional house. There were six of us and we had a great weekend. Thanks to Stephanie for hosting us and the house is super well located at 2, rue de la mer. There were no surprises. The photos match the house well and if I go back there, I will try to get the same house again, I recommend it.

We had a pleasant weekend with our 4 children and 4 grandchildren. A very nice large house. a large veranda for our long lunch and dinner meals. a large enclosed paved courtyard with a petanque area and games for children A very quiet place close to the beach and main shops. i highly recommend it

Villa ideal for a family vacation. Decorated and arranged for visitors with great care. Also very clean. There are plenty of nearby activities and places to visit. We are delighted with our stay.
