Absolutely STUNNING from the moment you arrive. The home with the wreath lite up - WOW. Once you open your car door you can hear water from the adjacent creek running into the river (time of year may change this). Following the very well outlined instructions you enter the pristine home and your mouth drops open - the decor, the views, the attention to detail - A+++. Heated floors in the entrance and mater bath. The river views!!!! Towels on each bed. So welcoming you do not want to leave. The views could not be better from the home, the deck, the hot tub and the fire pit. The hot tub was so refreshing and the beds were so comfy that all of us including two teens slept in each day. This home is more remote which is outstanding for peace and quiet; bring some yummy treats (town is also not that far if need be). Also, the river bottom is a little bit of a hike - not that friendly for young ones or people needing assistance, but the house view is exceptional. Book now-I am!!!!

We loved the beautiful place and it was so peaceful out there. The kitchen was fully equipped, there were lots of board games to play. The house is huge spread across three floors with an amazing floor plan. The hot tub was fully functional with clear instructions. Would love to stay here again for more than a night. Thank you!

The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to cook our family meals at the house saving us money we would have otherwise had to spend on eating out. We had the best family pool day Saturday. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

From booking (quick approval), check in instructions, checkin itself and then actual place was just immaculate. Felt like living in my own home. Fully stocked with all amenities and activities for kids. We loved everything about it.

Place was gorgeous. All equipment provided for a weekend family stay. The neighborhood is amazing and the views are to die for.

Fun Methow getaway and very private. We enjoyed the farm life and home was very well appointed.

Barb was an incredible host with a beautiful cabin. The family and I enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend at her house with a fire pit, hot tub, and a cozy environment. The house is decorated to perfection & Barb was very communicative & helpful. Will be staying there again. Thanks Barb!

Incredible views and place to stay as you are passing through the Cascades. One of my favorite places I have ever stayed. Was worried about the gravel road since we did not have 4WD, but road was super easy and not hard to navigate at all (although we came in May). 10/10

The House of Hygge was just what we were looking for as a family with small children wanting to spend the weekend with two other families with littles in the beautiful setting that is Suncadia. Beautiful home with plenty of space for each family set up shop while boasting an incredible kitchen that opens into the dinning and living areas. It might also be one of the best stocked vacation homes we have ever stayed at when it comes to kitchen necessities and toys for the kids. 10/10 would recommend Paul and Merete’s home to anyone looking for a rejuvenating getaway regardless of the time of year. We will be saving this home for future vacations and would love to experience it in the summer.

This was a peaceful getaway, looking down on the river below and the rolling hills all around. It’s a very still landscape. We didn’t spend much time outside because it was so windy. The kitchen was well stocked with amenities. The loft bedroom was comfortable. The sauna and hot tub were both rejuvenating. The hot tub is surprisingly sturdy for being inflatable. There are plenty of places to sit outside, though it was so windy that the furniture was knocked all about. This location feels in the middle of nowhere. Brewster is near enough that it’s not too bad of a drive for a grocery run, but I enjoyed staying in respite the whole time.

Even more beautiful than the pictures! We absolutely loved the beds and use of space throughout the home. Had everything we needed (although BBQ is gas, not charcoal). Be sure to buy campfire wood, none on site and recommended store closes at 5:30p. Hot tub was clean and everything everywhere was spotless! We also loved the reading materials and QR instructions were conveniently placed. Nestled in the mountains about 25 minutes from downtown Leavenworth. A nice, quiet, comfortable, tastefully furnished alternative from a hotel. Looking forward to visiting again!

My family and I had an amazing time at this cabin! My kids keep asking to go back! We loved how comfortable and cozy it was and the hot tub was outstanding! In May there were wildflowers all around the yard!

Cabin was cozy and relaxing. A perfect spot to get away for a few days and enjoy.

Our stay was great! The back patio opens up to national forest. Well maintained. The WiFi had some troubles on our first day, but they went above and beyond to get a new router asap and fix it.

The bear cabin is one I’d love to return to! Located in a beautiful valley next to the river it was a quiet escape from reality that we thoroughly enjoyed. We accidentally woke up late the last day and the host was so gracious enough to give us a late checkout so we didn’t have to rush. Very thankful for their cabin and their generosity!

Such a beautiful little A-frame cabin! Loved the hot tub, tea and coffee, comfortable beds, everything you might need to enjoy a get away and relax after hiking.

What a peaceful and calming place to stay! It's the perfect distance from Leavenworth, quick trips into town but once you are home it feels like you are the only people around for miles. Highest recommendations!

Beautiful home in a picturesque setting. Loved everything about the place, from sauna to the hot tub, to the expresso maker. Did I mention the amazing valley view with wind mills right at your doorstep?
