Waterfalls Hideaway-Lakefront, private picnic area

GuillermoRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was our second time staying here and it was just as good as the first time. The view of the lake and waterfall was amazing. We were able to bring our John boat and enjoy some time out on the lake and caught some nice sized sunfish. We saw lots of wildlife on the water and even some on land that was a surprise. The wife really enjoyed everything which is always good for me. LOL. Would definitely recommend to any couple or just anyone who wants to get away and enjoy nature or just some peace and quiet. Definitely will be back again!

Treehouses at Candlelight Forest/Le Petit Chateau

Lovely little forest getaway! Be warned that the shower pressure is as aggressive as a gentle rainfall, but otherwise, it’s the perfect spot for a peaceful retreat. We loved the farm animals and walking the grounds!
A treehouse elevated among tall trees showcases a wooden exterior with large windows allowing natural light. A staircase leads up to a welcoming porch, surrounded by blooming flowers. Nearby, a picnic table and chairs are positioned on the ground, blending into the natural landscape.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with our dogs! It was quiet and very peaceful surrounded by woods. It’s a no-frills cabin but had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub and the nice seating area outside. It was also perfectly situated between hiking at Fort Mountain State Park and Blood Mountain wilderness as well as a short drive to Blue Ridge and Blairsville. Would definitely recommend!

The Boathouse is just wonderful! It is beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. It had everything you’d want for a relaxing getaway. Willow Treehouse: Forest Views with Private Deck

StephanieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Loved our stay at the Willow Treehouse, however, it wasn’t 100% kid friendly. I brought my 6 & 2 year old on this trip for Spring break. It stated it was kid friendly & most was. Except for the deck. The rope detailed was not safe for my 2 year old & unfortunately we weren’t able to spend much time on the deck for that purpose. Everytime he would get close to the edge he could have easily fallen through. And the gaps between the tree in the middle was a decent size. However, staying there now I understand it’s more of a couples ReTreet & not so much for children. Loved the play ground for them though. Our stay was amazing other than those few safety issues. Definitely look forward to another stay in the future.

Tech Time: Secluded Treehouse Overlooking Creek

TylerRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Absolutely astounding piece of liveable art. Serene views and ambient sounds wrap their warmth around the souls of the wanderer. The home melded with its surroundings and made you feel like you were in the moment instead of just getting away inside a box. It was very easy to just look out the windows instead of at a screen. Will come back again.

Treehouse ~ Secluded~ Lake Front~ Kayaks ~ Sunsets

ChristineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lisa was the sweetest host - and I just can't stop gushing about the Perch to my friends! I spent the weekend there for a surprise birthday retreat with my partner, and it was amazing. It's very private - secluded, quiet, and peaceful. You want to bring everything you'll need because getting to a store requires a good drive. But, we packed all our supplies, including firewood, and snuggled in for the weekend. We arrived on Friday and left on Sunday (with a late check out - thank you!), but I could have stayed for a week. We cooked, sat on the deck and looked out at the water and listened to the birds for hours. We drank wine and played games, grilled steaks, sat outside by a fire, made smores and just enjoyed our time together. The Perch is so comfortable - all the amenities you need! The bed is soft, and we slept so well! We didn't do anything on the water, but it's a great workout to walk down to the dock and another peaceful place to sit and reflect. Thank you, Lisa! Lovely time!

We couldn’t have found a better place to stay for a long weekend. This little slice of heaven is perfect for anyone who wants a getaway! The house is so cool! Truly a treehouse experience. The deck was AWESOME for spending time on. We hiked, counted how many frogs we could find, kayaked, swam, and relaxed. William is an excellent host and so friendly. Will always recommend!

My husband and I brought our two littles for a 3-night stay while on our way back home to WI. We visited family in FL for 5 days prior, so it was a comfortable break from the 95⁰ heat. The cabin was absolutely lovely and being in the mountains was so tranquil. We really enjoyed the charm of Ellijay and did a lot of driving around just admiring all of the homes in the mountains (and those views!). We'll definitely have to come back for another visit in the future!

Hide Inn Seek Hillside Treehouse 1.5mi to Main St

WindiRating, 5 stars6 days ago
My husband and I stayed at Hide Inn Seek to celebrate our 15-year wedding anniversary and can’t stop raving about the experience! Hide Inn Seek is so much for than your average mountain house vacation rental - it’s a masterclass in thoughtful design, immersive nature and unparalleled attention to detail. Every inch of the place feels intentionally crafted for relaxation and connecting with nature. The luxurious furnishings, linens, appliances and numerous special touches made it feel like a private five-star hotel nestled amongst the trees. We read ALL the books, ate delicious meals, biked, hiked, and relaxed to music by the fireplace. This is truly one of the most beautiful, relaxing places we’ve ever stayed and we are officially hooked. We can’t wait to come again soon!

Unique Treebarn! The Raven’s Nest mini-barn

TimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
An absolutely great host and place. Beautiful home, well laid out, and very well appointed. There were so many little touches and things included, it was like a home away from home. Communication was well worded, and answered questions I hadn't even thought of yet. Very friendly, easy to deal with, even had a luggage cart waiting by the parking pad. From friendly notes around the house, to welcome "gifts" it was like staying with a friend who had to be out of town for the weekend! The home and lot are very pretty, felt like we were the only people in the world, but not far at all from the amenities offered by the quaint little community. We saw deer every day, the only bad part was when we had to leave today.

Luxury Treehouse Cabin on Chestatee River

BrittanyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband and I came to stay here for our Honeymoon. Our stay was so magical and amazing. The treehouse was comfortable, there were fireflies flying around everywhere and the river was so peaceful. This is a stay we will never forget and we're very sad to leave. It did rain during basically our entire stay but sitting on the screened in porch was just so romantic and added to the magic we felt. We were always given clear instructions and recommendations for oue stay and we appreciate Brian and Kelly for that. I absolutely recommend staying here!

We stayed in the cabin for a birthday trip. Me and my husband loved it! Beautiful just like the photos and nicely decorated. Spotlessly clean with wonderful views. Having a hot tub and fire pit was great. The hosts provided coffee, tea, sugar and creamer and herbs ,spices and oil in the kitchen. Brand new washer/dryer. The welcome folder was really helpful full of information on local hiking trails, restaurants and attractions. We had a wonderful time and were sad to leave.
