John's Heaven Valley

Location wise it's a gem for anyone who is seeking a tranquil place to unwind for have a long peaceful stay. The river is not only accessible, the stretch is beautiful naturally paved with low height rocks. For non swimmers it's such a big advantage to be able to enjoy the waters sitting on the rocks. Surrounded by plantations and no stray animals around the property I could leave my pets without the leash for sometime. The host, Shibel, greeted us and was there throughout our stay. The food - local dishes- homely and delicious. Loved every bit of our short stay.
An aerial view showcases a spacious two-story homestay surrounded by lush greenery and tall palm trees. The exterior is painted in white with dark shingles on the roof, complemented by a broad stone pathway leading to the entrance.

Sky Walk Resort

ManoharRating, 5 stars2 months ago
amazing high-altitude location with stunning views. we saw beautiful sunsets from the backyard, beautiful sunrises from the front veranda, misty weather, and clouds drifting over the vagamon hills. the caretakers were kind and helpful, and the food was decent, though a bit low on salt. they gave us binoculars and we really enjoyed birdwatching and looking at the hills. the night sky looked good on the last night even with clouds and we even spotted some fireflies. there were some insects at night (unsurprising given the rain and the location). didn’t bother us much though, we were actually fascinated by the colourful ones. overall we had a nice relaxing time and would definitely love to visit again :)
Natural light fills the room through glass doors, enhancing the inviting atmosphere. A dining area with a wooden table sits adjacent to a comfortable seating space. Subtle curtains frame the windows, and a lamp adds a soft glow against the wooden ceiling.

The Pepper Valley

AnupRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a awesome experience at The Pepper Valley, everything was as per the description. Special thanks to caretakers and cook, they made our stay very pleasant and Happy. Only thing to keep in mind is you have to travel a off road patch of 1.5-2 KM from Chellarcovil Ecotourism Park point. SUVs can go easily there. We even crossed this patch at late night and it was safe. Caretakers arranged for Barbeque and Camp fire, breakfast was complimentary, home chef made very tasty North Indian food too. Stay is very beautiful, rooms were nice and clean, beautiful garden and swing too. Top view of mountain from stay which looks surreal. Overall I went there with my entire family of 8 adults and 2 kids and everyone loved and enjoyed the stay, though a bit secluded we never felt unsafe, because of top notch service and help from the staffs. Rejith shared all the details like map, phone number, tourist places and everything before the visit. Loved Thekkady and Kumily. I recommend to book this stay

Unforgettable experience! No words to describe the hospitality! The stay exceeded all our expectations. The host family is THE best. If you are a nature lover and enjoys human relationships, look no where! The 10 acres farm has good walking trail, small fish pond, coconut tree climbing gear, couple of swings, fresh fruits, hens, rabbits, all varieties of spice plantations, lots of birds, many kinds of trees. The host was super kind to offer everything available on the farm. Food cooked by Seeniya was so delicious! I am not writing about the exact experiences to save the surprise element! I fell little sick one afternoon and I can never forget the way Mr. Soji has helped in getting me to the nearest best hospital in his own car, stayed with me for 4 hours at the hospital and got me back home after I got better! Praising God for the opportunity to meet such a wonderful family! If you are planning to buy some spices, they offer at the best price, don't waste your money elsewhere!

Firstly, I’d like to sincerely thank Mr. Baby for his warm hospitality and for always being available whenever we needed anything during our stay. I was traveling with my entire family, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The view from the property was stunning, with a beautiful waterfall just a short 10-minute walk away. I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a visit to Munnar!
