What a spectacular home on the prairie filled with wonderful art. Beautiful views on all sides from amazing widows. The house is decorated so lovely and makes you feel invited. Sitting on the porch at night looking at the amazing dark sky is worth the trip alone. Go visit the amazing flint hills in this great home.

Unique Paw Print Cabin nestled in the Flint Hills!

This was our second time visiting Paw Print Cabin for a weekend family getaway, and we hope to return again someday soon. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfy stay: comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, games to play as a family. The surrounding land was fun to hike through and explore. Our kids had a lot of fun playing by the creek, and we all had fun on several outings to nearby attractions (Tallgrass Prairie and Chase State Fishing Lake). We'd highly recommend Fur N' Feather's Paw Print Cabin, and look forward to coming back again in the future.

Booked a last minute getaway to the flint hills and enjoyed our day and pleasant evening relaxing at this space. Clean and more than enough room for the 2 of us. Comfortable bed and temperature control for a nice relaxing rest. Enjoyed the fire pit and wandering around the riverside too!

This cabin is a dream! So beautiful, quiet, peaceful. I loved being a short drive away from the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. Went for a walk there at sunset. It was lovely to spend time here, fully unplug and recharge. Hope to come back here again!

Plum Street Guesthouse

Plum Street Guesthouse is a lovely Victorian home on a quiet residential street in the heart of Cottonwood Falls and the Flint Hills. It is just a few blocks from downtown shopping, restaurants, the historic Chase County Courthouse and the River Bridge Park. It is less than 5 miles from Chase County Lake, Tallgrass Prairie National Park, and a National Scenic Byway. Enjoy the comfortable home, the front porch and the shady patio and back yard. Free strong wifi. Breakfast supplies provided.

Middle Creek Tree House

This luxurious treehouse is out in the middle of nowhere overlooking Middle Creek in Chase County Kansas. It was constructed by lumber that was logged and milled at a local sawmill. All the logs were cut off the Wells Ranch which is where the treehouse is located. Two live Ash trees grow thru the structure. There are 2 wood stoves as well as propane heat in bedroom and living room. This is off the grid with a 14kw generator for power. There is running water and a fridge for use.

An open living area features a stone fireplace and a large sectional sofa positioned on a vibrant area rug. A wooden dining table with black chairs can be seen nearby, alongside a kitchen with a bar counter. Natural light streams through large windows.

The "Church" Guesthouse

Come to church this weekend . . . The Church Guesthouse in Cottonwood Falls that is! The Church is an artfully revitalized Presbyterian Church built in 1885 which now has four bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths and will sleep up to 10 adults. Two of the bedrooms ( with queen beds) are downstairs along with a bath and a half downstairs. 2 bedrooms are upstairs (two twins and one with a full size bed) the loft has two twins with a full bath upstairs. Parties and events are not allowed.

Once again we had a great time staying at Matfield Station! This place is pure paradise for someone that loves the beauty and serenity of the Flint Hills. My wife and I have stayed there on a few difference occasions, but this time I brought a friend of mine that is a fellow train nut, specifically for its location close to the tracks. Unequivocally, there is no better place in the midwest for train watching. Just open the door, sit on the back deck, sip your cocktail and watch the trains roll by. Perfection!
