Great stay. Beautiful rental. Comfy beds and bedding. Plenty of space and very clean. Had the amenities needed to make a great Father’s day breakfast and dinner. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Was able to watch two parades and the fireworks show from the balcony. Wonderful stay. Absolutely recommend!

This place was great! Justin was a GREAT host and the home was exactly what we needed while we were in town. The printed instructions on the fridge greatly helped us with the checkout procedures. The house was peaceful and cozy!

Great space for my family and I to enjoy our mini vacation. Lots of amenities and state of the art appliances. Plenty of space for my family. The house was clean. Everything was organized well and easy to find. Check in and check out instructions were easy and clear. The house was out farther than we normally stay but the pool made up for it. Also we were close to the marina to see the fireworks and didn’t need to fight the crowd at the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. I would recommend this property.

If you want a peaceful, waterfront getaway, this is the spot. The house is very accommodating, and has a lot of amenities - the Breville espresso machine was a huge hit. But, even the espresso machine couldn't compete with the private dock. We spent our nights with relaxing down there with lines in the water. Everyone that attended agreed this AirBnB was perfect. And to top it off, the hosts were very nice and communicative. We could tell that they truly wanted to make sure our stay was a good one. If you are looking for a getaway stay in Stafford area, really consider this place.

My family and I frequent Colonial Beach, but this is the first time we have stayed closer in to town. This was a great decision since Roland's place is smack dab in the middle of everything. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops was a bonus. That my granddaughter could enjoy the playground and pool just outside the back door made her and her parents happy. The inside has all the amenities you could think of and was in spectacular shape. Roland was very responsive, though we needed for little. We will be booking again at this property for sure!

Outstanding listing, nothing I can complain about at all. I’d recommend this listing to anyone looking for a nice chilled stay. Also everyone in the neighborhood is really nice.

I could make this really long but I’ll keep it short and sweet! I needed an impromptu retreat near salt air and big water and this little cottage was the perfect cozy get away. Enough space for entertaining a few people but also small enough to not feel overwhelmed by space when I was alone. Loved the quiet neighborhood. Didn’t feel like anything was missing. So grateful for that moment of peace and quiet in a very comfortable environment.

This was my second time staying at Hillary’s place, and I enjoyed my experience as much as the first time! Hillary was very friendly and responsive, and the place was clean and peaceful. The location was convenient to walk to the beach and restaurants, and I look forward to returning for another stay!

What can we say? John's property was everything we hoped it would be. The back yard is full of fun yet also serene and peaceful. The water is perfect for floating in a tube, kayaking, or just wading in and cooling off. The house has everything anyone could want. As an added bonus, you'll enjoy watching an Osprey family, Herons, Ducks, Mockingbirds, Blue Jays, Cardinals, and even some Minks and a Groundhog. The firepit is perfectly placed by the water for a morning fire as the mist rises, and especially in the evening for spectacular sunsets over the bay. Even getting there is a joy, as you go down a quiet country road lined with beautiful farms, quaint churches, and plenty of deer and wildlife. If your looking for a tourest trap vacation, then Leonardtown is not for you. But if you want a quiet getaway with all the amenities, then this is your place!

This was our 2nd time staying here because we loved the place so much, and Kathryn was always responsive when we had a question about the home. Our daughters love all of the toys and the spaciousness of the home. We love it because it was clean and had everything we need there. The home is in a very walkable and beautiful neighborhood. The beach and restaurants are a short 10 minute walk with a restaurant and great brewery even closer. Again, it was very hard to get our daughters to leave. They constantly kept saying “I love this house and don’t want to go”. We highly recommend staying here if you want an enjoyable and peaceful place to stay in historic Colonial Beach.

Beautiful. Peaceful riverfront property. Clean! Had everything we needed. Plenty of space. We only left the house once. Spent the rest of the time eating there, playing cards, watching movies, talking and of course, enjoying the fabulous river view! A nice getaway to truly relax.

Lulus place was beautiful and a wonderful way to spend the weekend! Just as described, and the private beach front was lovely

The communication was great, the host was very responsive and gave information in advance. The house location is convenient, walking distance to beach.

Jenn and Ricks place was amazing. A nice distance away from the clutter of the city, traffic wasn't awful, and so many different types of restaurants and shopping areas within a short 5-to-10-minute drive in any direction. The house is super peaceful, and each room offers its own style and feel which helps create a relaxing and stress-free environment. It honestly seems they've thought of everything, the amenities were outstanding, rooms were spacious, yards were immaculate, and kitchen had everything you could as for. All seven of us had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

The house was amazing. Very spacious and cozy. The description of the house is very on point. There were even Christmas decorations up which added ambiance considering we traveled there for Christmas. We did have to move a few out of harms way(the little kids), but all in all the decorations added flair to the space. There wasn’t much interaction, because everything was great. But we were kept informed of the necessary information.

The lake was the perfect serenity we needed and fun sea life to enjoy. The house felt a little crowded for 4 people but it had everything we needed and our host had plenty of “extras” to make our trip complete

The house was wonderful from the front to the inviting backyard it was perfect. My grandson saw the bathroom and said this house is luxurious and he’s only 7!!! It was lovely and the robes were a great touch. Cannot say enough about the house!

This was a return trip for our family to Sylvia’s Potomac house. Its close enough to DC to enjoy it but far enough for peace and quiet. We have a large family and require wheelchair access and she was very accommodating to our changing needs and had the beds configured as we asked when we arrived. The location is peaceful but jot so remote you cant get delivery services. The house is always well stocked. Sylvia makes staying away from home easier for our family.

I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s and this was easily one of the best. Everything was exactly as described, and maybe even better than described. It had tons of amenities and a well stocked kitchen perfect for our large family. Spotless and beautiful. I highly recommend this home and would gladly stay there again.

The house was perfect for our family of 8 and pup. We loved the fenced in yard for our pup. The deck and fire pit were perfect. Will definitely come back here. Very friendly neighborhood. Thanks for sharing your home with us Denise!
