The accommodation has a terrace overlooking the gravel pit. You can stroll and spend some time by the water, at the start of a private pond located 800 m away.

In the morning you will certainly have the chance to see wild boars or deer in the 3ha unenclosed wooded park that surrounds the cottage. A hiking trail runs along the property and allows hours of hiking away from civilization! Two other cottages are on the grounds sharing the children's playground.

The Marais de Larchant, a labyrinth of canals with a view on the medieval Saint Mathurin basilica, lies just West of the Fontainebleau forest, close to the famous bouldering spot of la Dame Jouanne.
