Beautiful place, and so relaxing. Ginta was so helpful and welcoming. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and lots of opportunity for day trips into Cesis and for hiking.

House was clean, hosts were friendly. There were a lot of things to do. Everything was better than in the photos and as we expected. We had a great time there.

Mājīga, tīra un ļoti ērta māja. Guļamistaba lieliska. Turaidas muzejrezervāts un visa tuvākā apkārtne neapšaubāmi skaista, jo tik neraksturīga plakanajai Latvijai. Ir, kur iet un ko redzēt. Feini, ka divās pusēs īpašums robežojās ar pļavu un ka pilna sēta ābeļu, bumbieru, upeņkrūmu, nevis tūju. Neliels mīnuss klusummīļiem kā es - samērā dzīva netālā šoseja, īpaši jau pirmsjāņu laikā.

It was marvelous weekend in this place. Beautiful and picturesque surround. Calm and quiet. There are another house for rent nearby so maybe in bad if neighbors will be loud you can feel lack of privacy but not in our case. Very well equipped you can find what ever you may need in village house: well made grill with seat spot around, traditional wood sauna + natural pool nearby. Super village wibe. Host was super friendly, responsive and proactive. We had no any issue with accommodation and house usage. The only small downsides: house placed in real wilderness, so not the best gravel road as the only way to reach the house. Another side effect of that: no any shops 10+km around so consider to bring all food and drinks with yourself including fresh water. Would be glad to return again.

We loved our stay at Nora’s place. She was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. The setting was peaceful and serene—exactly what we needed on a rainy day. We especially enjoyed the relaxing sauna and the pond for cooling down afterward. A truly refreshing experience!

Stunning views of the lake from the cabin, really serene and relaxing area. Hosts greeted us upon check in and provided instructions and gave us apples. Very kind. In autumn it was a bit cold, but to be expected. Bed was comfortable, and sauna very convenient and warm. Raiskumeitus brewery nearby is a must try.

We are extremely happy with everything ❤️ Place is definitely soo much better than pictures could show!! Place is amazing! Hosts are very helpful, nice and quick to communicate!! To be fare everything was so good that we didn't need any extra response!! But when needed, it was there! Little touches, such as fresh flowers on fireplace, where very thought full. We do believe that location also is very good! Turaida and Sigulda at door step! Lots to see and explore there!!! Riga is not far at all ether!! We highly recommend to stay at this beautiful home, you are in country side but close enough to explore xxx Thank you very much to our hosts for our comfortable and very enjoyable stay!!! We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and cozy apartment. It was spotless clean , spacious and contained everything what we needed for our stay . It’s situated 10-15 min walk from train and bus station so very convenient to get to Riga or elsewhere. Groceries shop Elvi is over the street . Check in is very easy as host gave very clear instructions before check in. Thank you, Kristaps !

This house was great. We stayed with a group of 5 and everyone loved the house. Beautiful house, great kitchen, and nice yard. Be aware it is an extra cost to use the hot tub and sauna.

Loved this traditional homestead with its huge garden in a quiet and beautiful area. Ideal to chill and to have nice walks. The household contains all modern features you need. And heating with the stove is easy. I had no car — yet I loved the place. 300 meters away, you find the bus stop, which has direct connections to Riga or to the very nice nearby town of Valmiera every hour, making touristic exploration or grocery shopping easy. I recommend the place for contemplation but also for families ... ps: Aija reacts very quickly and helpful to any question - thx for this!

Это место без преувеличения можно назвать райским уголком. Огромный участок с яблонями, цветами и прудами, где можно купаться. Тут же сауна (€ 60). Пили мы родниковую воду из крана. Уединение, чистый воздух, тишина и роскошная природа – место, расположенное в центре национального парка – здесь отдыхают от городской суеты. Кто-то собирает лисички в лесу, кто-то ходит по звериным тропам и наблюдает за дикими животными (волноваться не стоит: медведи и кабаны – в клетках). В 5-10 минутах езды – кафе, рестораны, продуктовый магазин. Неподалёку два чудных городка: Цесис и Сигулда. Жили мы на втором этаже. На первом – Андрейс. Более деликатного и обаятельного хозяина трудно себе представить. Мы почти не видели его. Большую часть времени он проводил со своей очаровательной собакой на охоте. А непродолжительное время общения с ним было очень приятным.

Excellent place if you wish simply get away from the City or have a big birthday party. Huge garden, toys and activities for children. Very friendly and responsive host, beautiful place and easy get to.

Für unseren Urlaub in Lettland mit unseren beiden Hunden wählten wir diese wunderschöne Unterkunft auf dem Lande aus und es war wunderschön und ruhig. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, zudem gibt es eine Sauna und eine Hottub. Wir genossen unseren Urlaub dort wirklich sehr. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell in Riga oder am Meer (circa 1 Stunde Fahrtzeit). In der näheren Umgebung hat es mit 20 bis 30 Minuten Fahrtzeit einige schöne Burgen aber auch Restaurants und Supermärkte.

Simonas place is cosy and with lot of attention to detail with wood features aspecially and we enjoyed the hot tub aswell. Would definatelly recomend.

Jauka, mājīga mājiņa klusā lokācijā, lieliski piemērota atpūtai. Māja ir ļoti silta, un tajā ir viss nepieciešamais. Ar prieku atgriezīsimies!

Ļoti jauka atpūta! Mājiņa skaista, viss pārdomāts. Teritorija meža ielokā, putnu balsis, ko vēl vajag, lai atpūstos no pilsētas trokšņiem. Noteikti iesaku ņemt arī saunu un kublu. Saimnieks atsuacīgs, atļauj atpūsties netraucēti, attālināti ieslēdz/izsledz kublu, neparko pašiem nav jādomā. Noteikti iesaku visiem!

Wow! What an incredible place! We had such a wonderful time here. So peaceful and immersed in the wonderful Latvian countryside. The farmhouse is beautiful and feels like going back in time, whilst also having all the things you need in 2024 including wifi and bluetooth speakers and cinema (useful for the kids on the rainy days!) We all spent lots of time on or by the lake and the surrounding fields and forests. Another highlight was of course Bono the dog, such a lovely character. We enjoyed our stay so much and Rihards was always very helpful and responsive. We hope to return again in future.
