Beautiful place, and so relaxing. Ginta was so helpful and welcoming. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and lots of opportunity for day trips into Cesis and for hiking.

I give 5 out of 5. The location is very peaceful and surrounded by nature. We could hear birds in the morning and enjoy fresh air. It was perfect for relaxing. My kids really loved the garden and small playground area. They run around safely and had so much fun. The house is very clean and everything is well prepared. Kitchen had everything we need for cooking. Towels, bed, toilet — all very clean and comfortable. The host is very kind and always answer fast when we have questions. He gave us many helpful tips about local places and things to do. We feel very welcome. This place is really good for family trip. We want to come again in the future. Thank you so much!

It was marvelous weekend in this place. Beautiful and picturesque surround. Calm and quiet. There are another house for rent nearby so maybe in bad if neighbors will be loud you can feel lack of privacy but not in our case. Very well equipped you can find what ever you may need in village house: well made grill with seat spot around, traditional wood sauna + natural pool nearby. Super village wibe. Host was super friendly, responsive and proactive. We had no any issue with accommodation and house usage. The only small downsides: house placed in real wilderness, so not the best gravel road as the only way to reach the house. Another side effect of that: no any shops 10+km around so consider to bring all food and drinks with yourself including fresh water. Would be glad to return again.

Beautiful house in a stunning location - very peaceful and private. The house is nicely renovated and has very well equipped kitchen. Would absolutely recommend for a longer stay in the summer.

Stunning views of the lake from the cabin, really serene and relaxing area. Hosts greeted us upon check in and provided instructions and gave us apples. Very kind. In autumn it was a bit cold, but to be expected. Bed was comfortable, and sauna very convenient and warm. Raiskumeitus brewery nearby is a must try.

The place was beautiful and super clean and well equipped. The location was also super nice and you really had everything to be happy. In addition, communication was super fast and good and uncomplicated. Our wishes were directly addressed and responded to flexibly. We had a very nice time.

Wow! What an incredible place! We had such a wonderful time here. So peaceful and immersed in the wonderful Latvian countryside. The farmhouse is beautiful and feels like going back in time, whilst also having all the things you need in 2024 including wifi and bluetooth speakers and cinema (useful for the kids on the rainy days!) We all spent lots of time on or by the lake and the surrounding fields and forests. Another highlight was of course Bono the dog, such a lovely character. We enjoyed our stay so much and Rihards was always very helpful and responsive. We hope to return again in future.

Very beautiful place surrounded by forest by the lake! The cottage and sauna are beautifully decorated, everything was very clean and cozy. Relaxed with young children, there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The deck of the cabin has a beautiful view of the lake, we also used the boat to drive through it. Very responsive host, easy communication! :) Thanks for hosting, we will definitely be back! :)

Excellent location for a scenic getaway, next to a beautiful river. Artistic place and heartfelt hosts. Recommend!

All over good place, good location, good for families

Our stay at Anses apartment in Līgatne was all-round successful. The apartment is located in a listed building near the historic paper mill. With the window open, you can hear the picturesque stream rushing – almost like from a picture book. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love for detail. The large, modern kitchen is well equipped and invites you to cook. We especially liked the tastefully renovated bathroom as well as the charming combination of restored floors and stylish vintage furniture, which wonderfully accentuate the character of the house. We felt right at home. The contact with Anse went smoothly and warmly – you can feel how much passion is in this accommodation. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful apartment near a river Gauja. Aesthetic design, comfort bed and big stylish bathroom

I booked the accommodation for a colleague as a business trip, Ivars immediately agreed that someone else would use it. He was totally accommodating and friendly, we were very satisfied with everything!

We spent the weekend at this house for the second time! Everything is outstanding and we already knew! I can add what I especially notice here, little things that may also not be there to be exceptional! But there is.... a well-known brand of quality showers, hair washes, matched color towels, according to the interior, even the exterior, door fixers, all the way to the hinges of the cupboards, the dishwasher and it can go on and on.... Not everything is thought of, but thought hard more! Very tasteful!

Very friendly hosts, everything was done to feel welcome there. Place was very clean and well organized, peaceful place to stay with family on vacation.

I enjoyed staying at Zigmund's place - it is very cozy, the sauna was terrific, and the location was calm and peaceful, I felt right at home. Zigmunds was very forthcoming, helpful, and friendly. Would love to stay here when I visit Cesis next time. :)

This place is really magical, cannot recommend it enough. A cute, functional and beautifully fitted little house, with a small kitchen with all you need, little touches like great drip coffee maker, fast beautiful heater with real fire, lovely bed linens and cosiest attic with fairy lights. But the greenhouse/living room steals the show - amazing place for meals, reading, and I even slept there a few times on a mat I brought. Candles, fairy lights, wood stove and speaker all add to the atmosphere. Lots of little veggies growing there. The setting is really special - it’s right on the river, called Loud river - and it’s true, you hear the sound of the river in the yard and greenhouse, it is very relaxing. There is a ping pong table, grill, amazing hikes, kayaking options and pretty Ligatne in the surroundings. Ance is a great host and the host house is further on the property but a good distance so it feels private.

Absolutely will go back! Loved the place, sauna and the awesome sound system in the room! Bathroom was so warm. And I personally loved the outdoor toilet, brought back memories and could do business peacefully. On top of everything I was so happy to find UNO cards and badminton rackets! There was no thing missing. Would love if you could also swim there after the sauna! But 10/10 place. I also saw a deer, nice.
