We had an incredible stay. The apartment is better than in the photos, everything is clean and renovated. Very comfortable for 5 people and a pet. We would stay again.

A wonderful place for a great stay was! All incredibly clean and tidy and the interior was designed with taste and attention to detail! The Host's care, sympathy and attention made the stay special. Mr. Ângelo is simply amazing! He is very friendly positive and is always ready to help. He responded promptly to all my questions and ensured that we were comfortable from the time of arrival until the time of departure. Highlighting, your attention and permanent availability. Would very highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates the comfort of cleanliness and warm hospitality!

Mr. Angelo is a very helpful host, always available and ready to help. The space is very cozy and has everything a house needs. On a weekend of heavy rain and cold, we stayed warm and cozy at home. A place back, no doubt.

Amazing space, very nice stone house, everything renovated, perfect size for 2 couples and 2 babies! Amazing pool, and perfect surrounding space for socializing, good barbecue! I highly recommend this experience.

I had the pleasure of staying at Casa do Avô Chico this weekend and it was a wonderful experience. The house is super clean, beautiful and very complete, perfectly combining the old style with modern touches. It is amazing how they were able to enjoy the history of a house that was more than 200 years old and give it such an elegant and contemporary renovation. Also, hosts are extremely friendly, considerate and impeccable. They always responded promptly to any questions we had, at any time, and still gave us excellent tips on what to do in the area, from places to visiting to restaurants. All of this made our stay even more special. I highly recommend it!

The house & location is in a very small village up in the North of Portugal. Perfect getaway for us coming from a busy part of Portugal! We enjoyed our stay at the place, and highly recommend it to anyone considering booking. It was clean, super spacious & had a trampoline & small climbing course for my kids!

Wow! Vera and Antonio were friendly and welcoming hosts, even inviting us to join them in their personal cellar for a welcome drink from their own vintage. The apartment was newly renovated and was immaculate. We really loved the big bath sheets. For us the bed was a little firm, but we all have personal preferences about such things. We loved experiencing life in a tiny, but authentic rural village of Saturday, 26 kms from Guarda. If you are looking to escape the rat race, this is unique. Highly recommend. Susana was so helpful and welcoming. The village is perfect for a calming, peaceful stay. We had everything we could have wanted and more. The bathroom and kitchen are very well appointed and clean, the dining and living area comfortable, cozy and warm in the evenings, the views from the terrace are stunning and the beds were very comfortable. Perfect if you want to be in nature, surrounded by fruit, flowers and trees with big sky and beautiful vistas. Would recommend a car to stay here. We had an amazing stay and we’ll be going back!

We stayed with my family and the experience was AMAZING! A dreamy stay. I have traveled to many places, I know more than 30 countries and the stay I had here is hard to beat. The house is beautiful, the surroundings are perfect. Every detail was thought out with great affection. Nothing is missing, it's a movie-like place that I hope to repeat. Very comfortable house, quiet, safe and peaceful. We loved Retiro Vouga!!
