We had a wonderful stay at the Nightingale House in Cedarville from May 30 to June 2. The home is simply beautiful—charming, clean, and full of character. Every detail was thoughtfully put together to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The location is peaceful and perfect for a quiet getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend and would absolutely return!

Mary was a very gracious host and communicated in a timely manner. There were also snacks and additional toiletries beyond the standard, and it was a clean and comfortable place that made us happy to be there.

Great place! Everything was clean and fresh, and looked new. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom shower was insane. Very fancy. You can tell the owner really cares about this place and wants the guests to feel at home. Everything you would need for cooking, they even include a fully stocked spice rack. I would move right in if I could.

Outstanding location, always a responsive host, and the room is private and clean. It is always a pleasant stay, I highly recommend! The hosts are quite friendly but also give you privacy at the same time. Streaming movies, a grill, a patio … 5/5 everytime

Amy was great, very responsive. This is a gem! I was in Cedarville for a conference at the university. Very walkable. It's located approximately a mile from campus. Perfect location to all Cedarville offers. I will definitely come again!!

Danielle & Mike's place was fantastic. Perfect for a quick weekend trip, or a longer stay. Situated in a cute neighborhood not far from the exit. The place was clean, comfortable and provided enough space for me and my friend to spread out when we needed time alone, but also provided a comfortable place to lounge on the couch together. The only thing that we experienced that was mildly inconvenient was we weren't able to access Netflix or Prime as a guest per the house instructions, but we were able to login to our streaming account. Danielle was amazing! She provided a number of food options and a full list of things to do. If you book with Danielle and Mike, you definitely have to walk up to Slyder's Tavern. the food is excellent, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a local neighborhood establishment. I highly recommend their burgers, they're wonderful! We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We loved staying at Hoot N Haller studio!! It was adorable, safe, and clean, and our 3 year old daughter had a ball. She loved the tiny play closet, swinging on the swingset, saying hi to the chickens in the backyard, and seeing a baby deer! Donna is an amazing host and anticipated all of our needs, even making sure to include toddler plates and utensils in the kitchen for us. It is such a peaceful place to stay; we particularly loved eating the fresh eggs and listening to the rain on the rooftop. We would definitely stay again when we come to visit our family in Dayton.

A touch of luxury on a beautiful working farm. What a gorgeous retreat! A stunning apartment next to a peaceful lake on 80 acres - pure country bliss. Blaine and Co. were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful! The apartment was divine with a perfectly appointed kitchen and a huge, comfy bed! The fireplace would be perfect for those cool evenings in the Fall and Winter. I can't wait to come back!

The place was perfect! We were in Ohio to bike the Little Miami bike trail. This place was perfect as it close to the trail. The place was clean and very comfortable. The price was very reasonable and the host was responsive and communicated well! I’d stay again and highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at the Bloomin Bucket . We could sit on the deck for hours and there was so much to look at and talk about …yet it was completely private . Great place to have our two small dogs ..yet you could not tell dogs were ever in the house . Would recommend to anyone !!

So many good things to say about our stay. Great location. Very clean. Loved the fenced in yard, made it feel very private. All the extras (fully stocked pantry, the coffee bar, all the bathroom toiletries you could need) really took it over the top.

Beautiful lovely place. We stayed a few months and we fell in love with the house and the town. It was hard to leave because it felt like home. Will be missed. Definitely highly recommended!!!!!

What a great secluded stay, ended up booking another weekend while we were there because it was so perfect!! It was a bit of a walk to get to the yurt, but Kim does offer a wagon to make the trip easier. Close to Yellow Springs and Springfield with plenty to do.

This was the perfect place for our larger group to be together for a few days. Nice large living room, kitchen and dining room so we could all move around. Great yard and the stream was a hit with the kids. Carol provided everything we needed to enjoy the bonfire including lots of chairs and bug spray.

Came up from Virginia for a weekend conference and needed a place for 7 people to stay. The house was clean and had enough space for us to be able to spread out. It also had a very nice game room in the basement along with a bathroom and bedroom.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ohio American Gothic! Mary has thought of anything and everything that makes your stay not only comfortable but nostalgic and fun. You want music?? Bluetooth speakers and a phonograph with albums are available. You want to cook?? Top of the line appliances and any kitchen item you might need, plus a charcoal grill on the patio. You want to vegetate?? Try watching tv or having screen time on the comfortable leather couch and recliner. Laundry?? No problem … washer and dryer available. The bathroom and shower are a dream. The large shower has a “regular” showerhead, a rain shower head, body sprays and a handheld. Just what I needed to pamper myself. The bed and linens were so comfortable we just nestled in for a good nights sleep. Every room was stocked with anything we needed, snacks, drinks, electronics chargers, throws, Murphy bed, 2 TVs, desk, shampoo, lotion, coffee …. Thank you Mary and Ohio American Gothic for a really fun stay! We’ll be back!!
