Monthly Rentals in Cedar Island

We had a very nice stay! If you are looking for a peaceful place on the water with all of the basics, then this is it. No frills, but had everything our small family needed. Violet is so friendly and a great host. It was so nice to wake up to the water views and spend time outside watching the birds and sea life. Very short trip to the Cedar Island Ferry and nice beach. We would stay again! Important tip is remember to bring your bug spray!

The cottage was comfy, cozy. The porch is screened in and my favorite part was sipping coffee early in the morning listening to the birds and the surf. It was very clean and well appointed. If you want to cook, plan to stop at a grocery store on your way for provisions. There’s a small convenience/grocery store on the island with limited options. Didn’t bother us, just have to plan for it. Blue Ocean Market in Morehead City had great fresh fish options, fresh wahoo was delish!

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! It was quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. Brent was extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Great location for a slow, beach getaway with my family. We especially enjoyed the lovely, breezy porch and the beautiful, wooded location. Walking to the beach and to the ferry was easy. We appreciated all the extra amenities: beach chairs, puzzles and kitchen equipment. We would probably pack more water for drinking next time, but the little store had everything we needed. The drive onto the island, while truly stunning in many places, reminded us that our country is deeply divided and it will be a relief when the election is over.
