Waterfront vacation rentals in Cecil County

It was an extremely lovely apartment overlooking the beautiful Chester River! The apt was spotless, warm, inviting & had lots of amenities. Walter was beyond helpful: he rescued me when my rental car broke down out of town on the highway in the rain. You can’t ask for more than that!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Great place to stay and so peaceful - a real lakeside luxury. The house is simply fantastic and so therapeutic. Top notch.

Our stay here was wonderful! Trey was a fantastic host and was quick to help out with what we needed during our stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Having a highchair for our little one was a really helpful bonus! I would highly recommend a stay here.

Ebony is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had through Airbnb. Very responsive and helpful! You want crab at 10pm? She’ll find it for you! The view from the home was gorgeous. Very nice and quiet which allowed us some relaxation. Pleasantly surprised by the fireflies in the backyard and the huge magnolias on the tree (neither can be found in Montana where we came from). Great place. Would stay again if I ever return to the area!

We really enjoyed the space and the place. There is a clear view down to the water, and we sat on the dock listening to the fish break in the surrounding water, and had a Great Blue Heron fly right by us. We chatted with Kate and Charlie, who obviously love their place, and are happy to share it with others. The appointments in the apartment are beautiful, and it is definitely upscale! We plan on a return trip. Thanks for the stay!

Had a great time! Kathy and wayne was very helpful on suggesting restaurants and things to do. We loved the dock and fishing! They made sure we was right at home when we interacted with. This was a good central place to all we wanted to see, we went to Hersey Pa. Washington dc., The beach(bay) area, Baltimore harbor.

We had a fantastic one-night stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. What really made it special was the host — incredibly accommodating and kind. He went above and beyond by letting us use his dock for our small boat, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely one-night stay in John's place on the way back to our home on Long Island after a family wedding in Virginia. The apartment was just perfect - clean, comfortable, located on a beautiful street in New Castle. We had a wonderful meal in Rancho Azteca right down the street - amazing, authentic Mexican food, delish margaritas, a lovely bar, outdoor dining! Thanks for the great stay!

We had a great trip! Spent the afternoon playing corn hole provided by Dan and spent the evening around the fire pit telling old stories from our childhood. This is a great spot if you’re looking to get away and find peace of mind. Thanks Dan! We will be back

Beautiful and peaceful place. Screened in porch was wonderful where you could listen to the birds as well as watch the herons and even a bald eagle down at the river!

Brooke's house was a wonderful place for a girls' trip in between NYC and DC. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and very well equipped. There is a beautiful view of the bay, and the neighbors are friendly. The house comfortably slept five adults and could sleep more. There are also great spaces for kids. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, barbeque, and front porch. Brooke was very responsive, allowing us a late check out and answering other questions. The only downside--which is not a flaw of the house--is that the community's swimming area is under construction so was less peaceful than we imagined. We would definitely return!

Absolutely outstanding. The pictures do not do justice for the actual beauty of the home. Everything you need is there, the house is pristine in every way. I look forward to exploring more locations from the super host, Brad.

We had a great time. There was plenty of space to move around so that everyone was not in each other's space. The place was very clean and well-stocked with some everyday items you would normally have in your house to cook, shower and clean with. Jen was very responsive with any questions we had. Even the small children loved the house, especially the bunk beds. It was easy to get to places we needed to go to. All 11 of us enjoyed our stay and everyone said they wouldn't mind returning for another family staycation.

Beautiful, relaxing cottage off the beaten path with an amazing view. Jessica and her husband are amazing hosts, very responsive. My family is very blessed to have found their beautiful cottage. It was a great experience for us. We will definitely try to come back some day. The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. Thank you Jessica and Wess for everything. God bless your family.♥️

Beautiful home. Spacious, clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The setting is amazing, right on the canal. Host was proactive in reaching out and quickly responded to any questions we had. We look forward to a return visit.
